Nice assumption that everyone who gets arrested is actually a criminal. It is that sort of police state mentality that is the source of this rapid loss of our civil liberties and privacy rights.

There is a simple way to prevent poor behavior by U.S. forces stationed in Japan. Threaten to send them to Iraq if they screw up. For a while, the quality of character of the U.S. troops was getting much better. They were screening for drug use and other poor behavior. I can't help but think that the lowering of standards to keep enlistment up in this era of Middle-East war is contributing to the increased crime rate against civilians. Still, I think the discipline of U.S. troops is much better than that of other armies.

Mugabe has been a thug and a killer since before he seized power with the death of Rhodesia. Western powers have been his enabler the whole time. Only during the last few years, now that he has run Zimbabwe into the ground and the failure can no longer be masked by the Western media are world leaders starting to criticize his rule.

Typical Bloomberg. He should have been thrown out of the Republican party long before he quit so that he could pose as a spoiler if conservative won the Republican nomination for president. This is why most Americans hate New Yorkers, always trying to shove their elitist values down everyone else's throat, and at their own expense.

Ungrateful as usual. Considering Carter is responsible for some of the billions of dollars Israel gets in aid from the United States, he should be getting the red carpet treatment.
