Is not Aoi-chan married to Sosuke Takaoka?
I suppose it does not matter if the marriage is on the rocks.

I think they both look fantastic in their own way...that is what makes fashion and people so interesting.
bamboohat: Yes you could take any woman off the street and put her in the right outfit and make her look amazing, but that still does not detract from the fact that both these women look very nice in this photo.

I do believe that some teachers have deliberately ignored getting Kokumin Hoken. But as these companies are the teacher's visa sponsor I think they could play a greater role in explaining (to new teacher's in particular) what is expected of them regarding health insurance in Japan.

I have never paid into the National Health Insurance or the Pension, but am willing to pay into it. However, I do not want to backpay my fees, which seems more and more likely.
I find the whole backpaying for health insurance idea quite rude, because you know I am backpaying for a time when I was not covered. It just does not seem right, but it is not the first time in Japan I have thought that.

Timeborder: I will be very surprised if she gets 5 to 10 years, like you say. In all likelihood she will be given a 3 to 5 year suspended sentence, which pretty much is the norm for these types of offences in Japan.
Though, I am also a little perplexed by the sign...as somebody wrote earlier "we love you Noripi" or somehting to that effect would have been better.

This guy is a God! One of the many great Japanese film directors working today. My favourite Sono films are Love Exposure and the phenomenal Noriiko's Dinner Table.
People should watch this guy's films.

They were B Teams last night but there is nothing to suggest from this qualification phase that either team will go far. Australia probably have the better chance of doing well, because they have a tight defence and are a threat from free-kicks.
I want both teams to do well, in fact I want all Asian teams to do well, but there is just something missing this time around.
The upside is they have a year to prepare and things might turn around, but it is not looking good at this point in my opinion.

Australia and Japan were both poor last night. Neither team will go far in the world cup.
Japan might improve if they actually play some of their European based players who are used to playing against bigger and stronger opponents. I of course am talking about Inamoto of Frankfurt and Morimoto of Catania.

She is incredibly beautiful and judging from this article, quite sensible. She also seems to choose a variety of roles for herself, which augurs well for her acting career. The more I learn about this woman the more I like her.

skipthesong - I am against any form of torture, because you know it is kind of inhumane and wrong. The Japanese tortured for all sorts of reasons, but one of them was definitely to get information from their prisoners. It does not matter why you torture somebody, torture is bad.
Finally, do you really think that the American Military have never tortured for fun or for their own pleasure? Did you not see the photos from Abu Ghraib?

It is interesting, but back in WW2 there were Japanese soldiers who were executed for waterboarding allied POW's. Oh how the tide turns....America land of the free....and the hypocrite.
