I quite like Ryo Ishikawa, but if this media circus continues I think I will grow to dislike him very quickly, and it will not be his fault.

The vitriol reserved for both teams on this website is just hilarious. I assume most of you are adults, but you behave like 10 year olds. Seriously grow up the lot of you, and you know who you are.

I thought the game was played hard, but fair and in a fairly good spirit. All these "incidents" that people keep on referring too amount to nothing. They are a part of baseball and happen all over the world between all kinds of teams.

It was a good game, played by two very determined teams. Hats off to both of them.

A person's identity is very complex and it can be a very slippery concept to deal with. But I really wonder if Corey knows what Persecution Complex is?

I really liked this film and as I live where the film waw shot I am happy that it won. But how they could overlook Waltz with Bashir is completely beyond me.

    Ryoko does look nice.

Those legs go on and on, but I would still rather see her in her playing beach volleyball.

I like this photo, though aesthetically speaking there have been much better photos taken on JT. I like the way it subverts my notion of what a potential SDF soldier might be like. I Also like that if I had not been told it was a recruitment seminar for the SDF I would have thought it was two High School girs wearing some funny hats, because you know it is kawaii.

Why do foreigners have such an obsession with perfect teeth in Japan? Do people have to be so vain? The girl on the right does not have straight teeth to be sure, but they are clean and I daresay she is able to eat her food with them.

Uhm...she got asked about boyfriends, so she answered the question by saying she would like to find one and would also like to get married in the next ten years. What is wrong with that?

If she had been asked about her dreams for the futureand she had answered that way...maybe you might all have a point, but at the moment, you all seem like a bunch of whingers.

    Maki, uhm I am single.

I am curious about the tip off too, it seems very suspicious. I also am curious about the level of illegal drug use in Japan amongst celebrities. I assume it is like anywhere else, but these types of cases are relatively rare.

I am not sure Sugimoto Aya is the right choice for this type of advertisment. I mean I love her and think she is one of the sexiest women alive, but who has not seen her naked?

For me they should use somebody who people would not expect to go naked, for example, any one of the myriad of talento that have an ultra cute, squeaky clean image. If they had done that they would got even moe people talking.

Though I must admit that right now Aya seems to be doing alright on that front, so what do I know?

I quite like the photo...and I am all for women dressing like prostitutes, if that is what they want. Though I do tend to think that Japanese women seem to pull it off in most cases.

I wish I could have gone last night.

For men it is very simple, desperation, it will kill your chances. Women have to do a lot wrong not to get a second chance.

timorborder - I am a little curious, how did not JR provide a safe work environment? She was raped by a customer not a fellow employee. If she had been punched out by a customer, would she also have grounds to sue JR?

I am impressed that somebody was able to put verisimilitude into a JT article.

Other than that I am not quite sure what this article wants to be. Having a keitai with a camera does not turn us into voyeurs, but it is making it a lot easier to be one.

Okay I think we need to clear a few things up here.

One in three people the world over will suffer from a mental illness at a point in their life.

People suffering from a severe mental illness, eg, schizophrenia, are twenty times more likely to commit suicide. One in five people who commit suicide have been in contact with mental health services prior to their death.

People who commit suicide often have an "illness" that will simply not be overcome by toughing it out.

I am not saying that Kawada Ako had a mental disorder (she did say on her blog that she was suffering from mental and physical fatigue), but she was obviously down about something, so far down that she decided to take her own life. If that does not deserve our empathy and understanding, then I do not know what does.

I really liked Kawada Ako from her time on Goro's Bar and Nepu Rika. I am actually a little saddened by this news, because she was somebody I actually enjoyed watching.

I know she had moved away from doing variety programs because she wanted to do more serious television...such a shame.
