If we stopped immigration to the UK or shipped "immigrants" back, all the corner shops would close, there would be a real dearth of decent foods, buses and trains would stop and life would be even more dull and drab. Is this what people in the UK really want? I think not.

Suu Kyi has suffered for decades for what she believes in. Obama won an election and was in office for 12 days, come on!! Maybe in a few years, but so soon and so little to support it. Seems fishy.

"Call to action" maybe he'll actually DO something now. I understand Nobel encouraging this kind of internationalisation and engagement, but Obama really hasn't achieved anything yet, just lots of talk and very little substance. By talk I mean speeches, there has been very little engagement on the ground with Iran, Israel-Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea and so on.

But is it really the responsibilty of the government to protect citizens from its potential dangers? YES!
If it is, why alcohol and tobacco are allowed? Because all societies need some legal ways for people to unwind.
You seem to think some of us are anti-drugs/pro-booze and smokes. You are wrong, I am pro-following the law and anti-breaking the law. Hence I think this future scumbag should be strung up.
