For the life of me I can't understand this intolerance.

    Welcome to Christianity too.

They are not even a rap group. Do you know what you are even saying? They are like the Backstreet boys or N Sync, pop group. They sing and dance with one trying to rap on certain songs.

The are adopting the Backstreet boys template. I wonder how the Johnnies will respond to this popularity. The Korean groups are seen as more manly. The J-girls are preferring that more and more. Especially as they get more exposure to other cultures. The J-groups will probably respond by being even more feminine. The herbivore man will kill the J-pop male star.

Yes; but it's a symptom of the fetishism of cute.

Yes, cute means young. That fetishism can be seen at the end of the magazine rack at every local conbini store.

I heard that the idea of being attractive or beautiful was once thought of as an unreachable goal for Japanese. They were comparing themselves to foreigners which they didn't look anything like.

So they created this cute culture during the 20th century which is so prevalent today.

    Puffy is attractive not cute.

I see the Marvel genre taking a hit somewhere. It will be difficult for Disney to satisfy both hardcore fans over 18 and the parents of children in Elementary school.

I will say Disney has gotten better at repackaging ideas. For example, the way they sell sex to young boys and girls using the Jonas Brothers and Hanna Montana. The parents are too dumb to even realize what'shappening.

blm, I'm not signing on to anything I can think of at the moment that >will guarantee I'll stop sharin' my air with you.

Exactly, no guts. Not even for the right thing? Might point has been made.

He made a concious decision to get commit murder period. That is not >guts that is a coldblooded murderer and you want to impart some sort of >'diginity' to it.

Nope, I want to point out that a lot of these people willing to sacrifice themselves truly believe it is a righteous cause. Just like the Armed Forces do everyday when the previous Commander in Chief lead us into the misleading Iraq war. Understanding, what is the real undelining factor is key to finding a real solution. Saying because they are Muslim is superficial and weak-minded. Just like saying because they are Christian.

There should always be respect even for your enemies. There is honor in that.

    USARonin,

    Did I misquote you, blm?

No. What were you willing to give up your life for recently? I don't mean with some potential threat. Like being a military or police officer. You sign up for it and you know the risks. I mean actually being forced to make an immediate decision to sacrifice yourself without any worldly benefit to yourself?

Like, I said guts! Misguided but guts still the same.

    USARonin,

Wake up and smell the Islamic hate, my friend.

Once again not condoning the actions but where is this "hundreds of millions" strong front you were pushing earlier? Once again all this horrible acts were committed by a small group. Just like the same numbers of Christian and Racial hate groups. I wonder how many people including yourself believe or agree with despite having any involvement with these Christian and Racial hate groups?

The problem like I was explaining to Sailwind, these people despite small in numbers truly believe in what they are fighting for.

And numbskull, made a good point that some of this hatred towards the West has nothing to do with religion. It is based on their experience with Westerners. Like having their villages bombed, family and friends killed. You think you would be all fine and dandy with that if it was you?

    @Sailwind

Targeting innocent defenseless human beings on purpose sure takes alot of guts and courage, right B.G

No, but self sacrifice for one's belief does take guts.

All this cop crime really is beginning to make it look like a "cop >crime" section is warranted.

Or maybe we should just start profiling the police.

    USARonin,

Irish Christians haven't declared jihad on the whole world, for one.

Well the second point is, neither has the entire Muslim population. The size of the the Jihadists are equal to the same number of extreme Christian groups. The percentage compared to the Muslim population is around 1-2%. The difference between them and the Christian groups is they really believe in what they are doing and have the guts to do it.

The problem isn't the religion. The religion was simply hijacked and use as a tool to unite these people. Like Christian and Racial hate groups.

Conversely, half of Nigerias population is Christian, and you can bet your >behind that no Christian Nigerian has ever tried to suicide-bomb a >passenger plane, or ever will.

True, but the Irish Christians groups also know how to kill and blow up a lot of people too. So what's the point?

    @herefornow

biglittleman -- silly comment a pure red herring.

Your comments are silly because you complaining about people who did something stupid by coincidence during the Christmas holidays.

So for these idiots to get drunk and abuse this guy as part of a >"Christmas" party IS insulting.

Once again, you not understanding the situation. They didn't assault him to celebrate Christmas. They assault him because the woman's honor was hurt. They decided to have a party to celebrate. If it was Halloween they still would have had a party.

And, since I live here, and have to put up with this and all the other >public nonsense/indecency J-folks display on Christmas, I do care.

You don't you can always leave instead trying to impose your culture on someone else. You don't see Japanese complaining because foreigners do something stupid during Obon in a foreign country or Japan.

Jesus wasn't born to give J-morons a reason to get drunk and do stupid >things.

Jesus, wasn't born on Christmas day anyway so who cares what these silly people do.

Japanese bully tactics strikes again! If it ain't J-cop related then it ain't real. J-cops representing to the fullest.

I agree with WhatMeWorry. It is a wedding of convenience and status.

Mao chan: Look, I married a famous kabuki actor. We are no longer together but he is rich and famous. That means I have value and worth. We also have a child which means he has to keep giving me money. I'm set!

I also wonder why does everybody successful need to be a prince, King, or Queen in Japan?

I don't think he really care about but preserving the newspapers. he just wants to continue making money. If he fines a way to still make money then this will no longer be an issue. I say continue to make it free but make the search engines give them a larger share of the profits.

He wants to continue to control information. That is where the power is. The internet access readily available and the mistrust of TV, Radio and Newspaper companies is pushing people away from traditional outlets. It also makes people more well informed individuals. This is what they don't want. Easy access to information from different sources makes it a little more difficult to mislead. If we didn't have free content then we wouldn't have known about Fox using misleading footage for some of their stories.
