You don't sell genuine Louis Vuitton bags at 100yen shops, right? If I'm an owner, why would I pay more when I can employ any gaijin looking jobless man in Japan who's willing to work more with low pay? Some are satisfied with low salary if they love teaching. I think the owners' job is to give them better working condition and job security, then it's gonna be a win-win situation.

The sad thing is these are the people who worked hard to make Japan what it is now. Japan has money but they don't take care of their own first.

Oh, c'mon, noirgaijin. I'm pretty sure they'll turn out to be good citizens a couple of decades from now and will have a good laugh recalling about this adventure especially ending up in a gaijin news. You see, there quiet obedient teenagers who turn out to be a criminals. We can never tell. Yeah, probably it's one of JTs quiet moments that made this news in the front page.

InTheKnow, I'd say NO!!!! Even too many katakana in the sentence is a pain in the brain how much more roman alphabet. The Vietnamese and Filipinos had no choice, I guess. As an educator I believe thi is the reason: "How did Japan’s once vaunted education system sink to this? The culprit most often cited is “yutori” education, a progressive easing of elementary and high school curricula beginning in 1998 in response to fears students were buckling under the strains of a hyper-competitive academic workload. Has this “easing” gone too far?" btw, that's a kopipe :-)

C'mon! Everything during the bubble economy was overpriced. This is the real price. The biggest challenge is for the landlords to lower the rent so these Izakayas can still make money but that's another story.

PAL almost went bankrupt and was bought by a Filipino-Chinese. JAL should follow: I.e. sell it to a rich Chinese with Japanese passport.
PAL is expensive but the service is excellent. I've tried (all economy) China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Al Italia, etc. But the best were PAL and Singapore Airlines.
Who'll need such entertainments in short flights?

I rarely use headphones like this coz the shape of my ear can't hold them. Also, I heard it's bad to over use it. I know someone who used it while sleeping, he suddenly got up and puked. The doctor said it was the headphone.
