That's the whole thing about these one-gag 'comedians' - they don't usually have ANYTHING to offer than one one gag.
And hoping to rest your career on a Japanese PM? That's like stamping a 'Use-By' date on your forehead, and a date for a product with a very short shelf-life.
Oh well, back to the bottom of the pile, plus the "Didn't you used to be...?" comments.
P.S. How is the Obama impersonator doing these days? That got old within a week, too, but at least the 4 year presidential term system gives him a higher level of job security.

The image of a lifeless, goat-eyed face at press conferences. Oh, and his numerous trips to Okinawa to placate, and then finally apologize to, the locals.

I can understand queuing for a show where a musician/band has a limited number of appearances, but queuing just because you want to be the first one to own something that there'll be but a glut of in a a few more days, and then will be outstripped by other gadget in less than a year's time - well, that's another matter entirely.

I think nightflesh has summed it up well. Those responsible at the bases don't want the stigma of the behavior of the few that do commit crimes. It's in their best interest to keep this to the lowest amount possible. And as we have seen in recent reports, even the JDF themselves are not averse to committing criminal acts. Should they be restricted to base as well?
I'm fully in support of those foreign military personnel (and family members here) who commit crimes in Japan to face the brunt of the law of the country they are within after a fair and transparent trial. Whilst these people should behave better in Japanese society as 'guests' some don't, but when 'guests' soldiers, tourists, foreign workers (eg ALTs) are held to an even higher standard as the locals and undergo undue attention towards them because of their foreignness, then that's unfair. However, there is a substantial part of the population that believes that being a foreigner means not being entitled to the same legal / human rights as the Japanese population.
In any case, I urge the US military to keep briefing/warning service people and their families of the consequences of poor behavior, not just for themselves but for the other non-Japanese who live here. Unfortunately, when you are in control of inexperienced youngsters (and this can equally apply to ALTs) good behavior is something that is not necessarily on those folks minds when they're out and around on the town.

I'll fully back the bid if they do not engage in building more enormous stadiums. If they get it in 2022, the places built for the 2002 WC can be refurbished - but let's not make this an exercise in lining the pockets of construction companies (and their cronies) with more, unnecessary stadium.

The thing is, they're usually not 'out of work' - this is what a friend of mine used to call a weekend 'gravy gig' - extra money on top of what they're earning from their full-time employer.
As for the robot, well he doesn't have blond hair, blue eyes, or a cute smile...we'll just have to wait for that.

Edit: After the first incident, the teacher had attended school, saying that the injuries to his head were due to him 'falling over.' The school said he should go to the hospital, and he apparently was admitted to hospital after that.

According to the (local?) news last night he had been attacked in March and that's why he had been in hospital.
Whilst he was not killed in my neck of the woods, the school at which he taught is very close by.

In Japan, you're safer outside your home than inside it, unless you're in a car.
As for the question itself, it seems a paraphrase of one of those late-night bar encounters with a drunk salary man who wants to chat with a foreigner: "Japan is safety country, yes?"
