how romantic. He is a real man!

He is. I saw a drunk man in his 50s fall onto the tracks once in the countryside. I saw a woman dash to the conductor who ran for the emergency alarm and hit it. I saw 5 Japanese guys jump down onto the tracks to get the guy up. I saw another 5 haul him up from the top of the platform and then help the others up. It all took place in a few seconds. All the while there was an express train due any minute. They men who jumped down did it without concern for their safety. I was blown away.

I really hope they bring him back here to. He probably has no concept of the Draconian process which he faces. Being from transparent NZ, it may come as a shock to him what he will face in Japan.

I understand how the guy feels. The lady above me was very noisy and I complained to her many times. She just said she is not shy about noise and the building manager did not help me. Some people are so selfish. So I stacked my stereo speakers under her floor and let her have it with Slipknot all night one night. She went quiet for a while but then started up again so I threw a bunch of rotten eggs onto her balcony. Have not heard a peep since.

“I wish I was a female member of the fire brigade!”

You see? this is why we hate Japanese celebrities. what a stupid thing to say. Do Japanese people really obey their celebrities?

Best Supporting role goes to the Japanese government, in playing, The Victim.

But in Japan the footage of the failed pepper spray attack will never be shown. Instead we will get an edited caption is Sea Sheppard bottles being thrown and Japanese whalers wincing in pain.

To be honest there are some quality actors in Japan like Beat Takeshi, Tomoka Kurotani, Koyuki, and Ken Ishiguro for example.

But the celebrities that feature often on JT are without the talent, substance and quality that the names above possess in truckloads.

They are also well set up for a good mocking when they accept stupid awards like best Jeans wearer etc. If you have any quality or self respect, why on earth would you accept such an award? Its shallow and inane, like the media whores that accept them.

I don't mind valentines day but I don't need it as a reason to be romantic. I try to be romantic often. I like romance a lot.

techall is right. The Taiwanese defense was nowhere to be seen at times and the Japanese strikers fluffed so many chances it was criminal. It should been 6-8 nil.

    beheading

It does not involve beheading. The head remains attached to the body by a flap of skin.

Anyway, The cops should take a closer look but you never know. Maybe they are releasing this note to make a suspect comfortable while they follow some leads.

You got it love. No raw fish and semi boiled broccoli and never any soy sauce at my house. I start from base and build a beautiful dish. I never eat out unless its Thai or Indian. I cook Italian.

Once a Japanese girl said to me "We Japanese do not need sauce with our vegetables because we Japanese cab appreciate the individual taste of broccoli and carrot".

I asked "and you eat your semi boiled veggies with raw fish, or fried meat right?"

    "Yes" she said.

I said "we its not that you don't want a nice sauce with the meat or veggies its just that you Japanese cannot cook. Raw fish? fired meat? half boiled veggies? any fool can serve up that but to create from base a beautiful sauce for pasta, meat, or vegetables? French and Italian food kicks Japans can all over the place.

As for Asian fare, Thai or Vietnamese food kicks Japans can all over the place.

The crowd booed them off the pitch, except the goal keeper. He got a huge cheer. Japan is getting worse at football.

Makukun is exactly right. "Critics say the scientific program is a front for commercial whaling, and much of the meat is eaten." Yes, that's also true, but it's also exactly in accord with the arrangement forced on Japan by the IWC. It is entirely to save the face of the IWC that this silly arrangement exists.

Well in essence there would be no IWC if Japan could not whale. Some fat cats would lose their big expensive homes if whaling was banned internationally.
