Bit harsh on Kushiro earlier, mate. We quite enjoyed it, when we were there they had barbecue and bar tents set up along the wharfs at night and the people were pretty friendly. Sure, a bit grimey and we saw plenty of the military music blaring black vans with slogans for the return of the Russian islands, but ,that aside, i`ve seen worse dumps.

This is right up there on the freaky creepy scale, people. In any other country this weirdo would have pumped full of lead if the cops had found him on the street with four abducted little girls. But ohhhhh nooooooo, not in Japan, where this sicko has been up to god only knows what in his sordid little house, getting his jollies from kiddie porn no doubt. And people here post support for him!!! Unbeleivable. Get him off the streets before he does some real damage. Another reason to get out of Japan.

"Kojima will sink for good"- rubbish, thats the typical kind of defeatist attitude that the Japanese work mindset has led to. When things go bad, the Japanese start this "woe is me" whining. Get off your butt, stop relying on industries and companies (who hate you) to provide you with a living for life. Go do something else.
