I always like how politicians and other liars apologize for 'causing trouble' not for making the asinine remarks they make. It would be more believable if Shimakura said, 'I apologize for mis-representing history; Japan did colonize Korea in the 1900s.'

I believe she cut her hair so she could wear that fake covering. Otherwise the fake covering would stick up about nine feet above her head.

That said, in samurai dramas does anyone else notice the bad fake sideburns? Or are the fake sideburns on purpose (they must be).

timcampi13, I disagree about the Harry Potter books being well written. I couldn't get through the first five pages of the first one. The latest one, though, is pretty well written. Either Rowling learned to write or someone else wrote it.

I wouldn't want to be the one to call a Justice Minister a liar, but the fact that he's signed death warrants for more people in one month than most justice ministers sign in several years betrays his true feelings.
