I don't know if I'd feel comfortable living in a country where anyone who thought I was too radical reported me to the police. First, it would give the police way too much to do in sorting out which of us is the looney and second, my 'sane and rational thinking' might be somebody else's radical terrorism.

I guess what needs to be defined is the meaning of 'encourage'. My kids love the Santa Claus stories, the Tooth Fairy, et al but did I 'encourage' them? I gave them presents I signed Santa Claus and I slipped cash under their pillows in exchange for baby teeth. Is that what JapanToday calls encouragement?
