I was brought up to have good manners. Ladies first, give your seat to those more needy than yourself, help people with heavy bags or buggys on stairs. these are just a few examples. If you do not do these things then you are not a nice person. I always remember the time I was in Hawaii, a lady was walking through the door behind me so I held it open. She accused me of thinking she was weak and that she was equal, well I replied "I'm British" and let the door go, moral of the story; be nice even to idiots who have no understading of good manners. And yes I would have held the door for a man . japan often lacks manners in big cities.

I agree, straight to death row!! Allow her no appeals! Put up pics of her child in her cell. Tip her dying breath make her remember what she has done. I'm actually shaking with rage at this and every other child murder that happens...

guess that KDDI didn't report the time that they gave personal e-mail history to a mafia member/ex-policeman 5 years ago... no wait I had to report it myself and then the police did jack all and AU (KDDI) had the balls to deny it. I will never ever use AU or KDDI again... they are untrustworthy and lie.

ps; JT a while ago a report on this site said that the government (or some other agency thats just as stupid) had stated that most spam mail came from overseas... could you please explain how that 99% of the spam I get is written in japanese and sent from japanese servers?.

I got the iphone 4 days ago, and so far am very happy with it. I am glad I read many of the problems on blogs beforehand so i knew what I was getting in for. I also wish it had the strap holes and a saifu function but it doesn't. It does get hot, but so did my old sharp... Overall I think, for me, the pros out weigh then cons.

I am in agreement with "TheNewZen" I am all for disipline by school teachers. when they use disipline they should use a stern voice and authority.

The only people who should dicipline with a smack (on the bottom, never any other part of the body) is the parents and NO ONE ELSE! If anyone but me or my wife ever used physical diciplince onmy kids there is no would, I will make sure they never, ever touch my kids again.

Also a note for all you purists out there who think a child should never be smacked, when you have kids you may comment on it. if you have kids I wish you luck with your future psychos.

So glad I didn't move to matsudo like I planned too... my kids may have been at that kindergarten... If I found some sick twat like that I would beat him to a pulp for going near my kids. TheNewZen, my kids are part japanese, being raised in Japan, so I feel free to critize the country and the system that is supposedly there to protect them from this type of rubbish!! does Japan protect its children...NO!! a cop pimping out schoolgirls gets 300,000 yen fine, perverts get a slap on the wrists. Japanese pedaphiles who get caught in Thailand get protected by the Japanese government!! Sickness is here in Japan.

the local yakuza were the first organization to help people in the Kobe earthquake. yes they used monies gained from illegal ventures to pay for it, the government should have been there! Using goods paid for with "legal" taxes... when did the government organizations show up? How many might have died waiting for them? the yakuza are the scum, no doubt, but they help the common folk in times of need while the government sits on their bottoms deciding what to do. the article above is usual Japanese drivel saying that their culture is too complex for a NJ to understand... Rubbish, mafia, triads, yakuza they are all the same thing. Bullies praying on the weak.

I would advise Rakuten to check their purchases books and dealings very carefully, so nothing comes back to bite them inthe future...

there won't be a one off tax cut. If there was the polititians might have to take a pay cut... Goodness forgive that. as usual, in line with the world stupity, they will raise taxes and then complain when revenues drop because no one spends. the people who should be running countries are those who are actually doing daily jobs cutting hair, tending bar etc. No high level expensive education makes them better qualified I think. anyone who wants to be the primeminister/ president should be automatically disqualified on those grounds.

Like the way the Chinese immediatly get blamed for this "honey trap" maybe she just wanted a sugar daddy :D. Of course there was pillow talk, come on he's 64... lot of "Free time", me thinks:) But who says she passed on the info to the Chinese... why would they care about how much debt MCB has and if his obviously caring colleagues pointed out they knew he had a passion for young Chinese women, maybe someone should have put a stop to this ages ago.

Sounds like what happened at another bank but was covered up about 3 years ago...
