Sometimes, like right now, I believe in the death penalty even if no one is murdered.

I am sickened yet again and would love to show this lady how HER son felt during those hours. The government does need to help these people, at least give them help before they snap like this and to promote safe sex. My 5 year old wets the bed nearly every day, I have been getting up at 3 am every day to take him to the toilet and/or change his wet sheets so that he doesn't spend more than a couple of hours in wet sheets. Yes it drives me mad and means my sleep pattern is screwed up BUT that is what a parent should do!! His older and younger brother don't wet their beds, and he is embarrassed but in this situation he's cleaned dried and HUGGED. Not beat a child for what is natural. RIP little one. It wasn't your fault.

I didn't feel a thing luckily. Why is "yurekuru" not showing this quake though? Is it because the US geo reported it?

The child seat must've been installed incorrectly, also to throw them from the car would take a lot of force. K cars are definitely weak and I'd hate to be in a crash in one. Japanese cars maybe a little behind but the majority are upto European standards. I'd rather be in my Japanese made buggerlugs mobile than any other if I am hit. The comment about certain seats being for certain cars is only partially correct. The list toys r us works from is which model car the seat head been tested in and warranty/guarantee it covers.

I ain't no genius poppet, I hope we've been faked but I doubt it. We are talking about a country where a police raid is announced days before it happens and the media camping out waiting for their arrival. Even with my limited mental ability I think he'll arrive on wed as reported.

My first thought on seeing this was "oh they'll arrest him and hold him in Japan on charges of invasion of privacy or leaking private information" or some such jumped up charge.
Good luck to him though, I hope he succeeds. As posted above, the media should not have released his arrival date... Next they'll probably show his hotel so everyone knows where he's staying.

And so it begins... I predict this will be the first in a long line of corps cutting staff to "streamline" their business and all the while damaging the economy with a deadly spiral such as we can see in the US and Europe. The corporate fat cats will continue to take their massive salaries and bonuses while regular people will be hurt because of a lack of jobs and an increase in taxes imposed by stupid governments to help cover the costs of an ever increasing unemployed population. Good bye economy... It was nice knowing you.

@tokyokawasaki. Well I was trying to be fair. So here's my hOnest view. As kids are taught that those in power like teachers, doctors and policemen should be trusted without question, their opinions and actions carry abnormally high weight. If a construction worker or a dustman commits a crime it carries less moral weight than if a policeman or teacher does. The reason, because these people are expected to be trustable. (a construction workers moral obligation is to build a stable structure) Of course both are bad (as I can hear you screaming but a crime is a crime) but one of those commuting the crime had a social stereotype to uphold the law!! Not break it. The fact that you can not see this makes me worry for your future. What kind of society do we live in where we have to tell a child "yes do exactly as the policeman says, don't worry that he sometimes breaks the law he will hold you too without question" A policeman takes an OATH to uphold the law, not just when they feel like it. (a construction worker does not take an oath, to the best of my knowledge) That kind of society is where we are heading at present. I say name and shame them!! Let everyone know that corruption has infiltrated right upto the highest echelons and is festering there. I know you'll find holes in my logic but I don't have the space to cover every possible aspect of rebuttal and no should I need to! Common sense should prove my argument without question... But then you should always question and not follow blindly shouldn't you.

Usually I'd agree that the job is not important but in situations where the person is in a position of authority it is. A police man should never really be off duty, they should always be diligent, uphold the law and be a trustworthy role model.

Jeez another one!! What is the character test to be a cop in Japan? Tester "are you honest?" Applicant "yes" Tester "well that's good enough for me" Tester "can I have my pen back please"

I am also sickened and disgusted by the phrase "forced suicide" please change it JT I'm sure as are many others here that none of those children chose to commit suicide even under extreme duress. I'm certain they were MURDERED by a sick adult. I feel physically sickened now by this phrasing
