Oh I believe you mr tepco. Im so glad it's not an uncontrolled reaction. So I guess you planned it, right? Mr tepco. Why does my spell checker keep trying to change "tepco" to "lying halfwits"?

Dear mr noda. Which country are you living in? Of course this is the norm in Japanese boardrooms, nay society. You have obviously not been keeping track of all the scandals in business here. Just look in your own party, dear mr potato head. Aka Ozawa. I predict there will be another dominos falling soon among other companies illicit practices. Poor naive mr noda, you obviously understand less about Japan than those silly gaijin.

Ps. I don't actually like many of the restaurants in the guide because the price is too high or the cuisine is not to my taste. I'm just a heathen and will happily give yoshinoya or tenya a star for their cost performance.

Sorry mate. I got my facts directly from memory of a story about how the first Michelin guide was critiqued for not giving enough stars and the restaurant owners/managers complained that the judges could not understand Japanese cuisine well enough because they were forign. The guide on its next release had Japanese judges and suddenly no one complained again. I will happily bash Japan for its blatant racisim and xenophobia. Did you know there are restaurants in tsukiji that don't allow gaijin to enter? Why is that so you cry, well it's because apparently gaijin can't understand food or Japanese manners well enough. When you, poppet, have lived here as long and since a young age as I have you may tell me not to bash Japan but untill that day keep your mind and eyes open. Now. If Japanese cuisine wants to be taken seriously it must stop screaming like a petulant child whenever it is criticised, not assume that all gaijin can't use chopstick (even this ham fisted ape can use 2 bits of wood) and when a world class judge says the food is whatever there is a good reason for it!!

I thought that no Japanese trusted the Michelin guide because a gaijin can never truely understand or appreciate Japanese food and culture...

Aha I see from posts above the reviewers are Japanese now, that makes it all ok then.

    Except I don't like sushi...:(

Saw the police hanging around on route 14 Saturday night. Now I know why. Stopped and had a smoke with the other 200+ people but no one knew exactly what had happened. Mrs buggerlugs said the jp news reported one of the 3 was the wife. There's a lot of drunks around there and a lot of bad cyclists. I wonder if this guy ran into 1 of the 3.

Oh and as an after thought. I got the impression that the next "great tech" was 3D... That failed again just like TB. Every 30 years they pop up then disappear.

Wasn't Betamax developed by Sony? So shouldn't that be Sony hasn't learned? Steve jobs sold nothing to the devil, he did what we all dream of and succeeded where many others failed.

This system won't work because all those who invested in DVD and blu ray have already wasted enough money on systems that will be outdated in 6 months. I'm gonna hold out for holographic tv before my next big purchase. For now I just hope these big companies realise that average people just want the rights to view what we've bought on the devices we have.

I love the mindlessly repeated sentence "japan has no natural resources" It shows how little inventiveness is left here. There is A LOT of geo thermal energy available. Why not give up a few onsens and use that source? Or would that be against culture? I'm all for nuclear power if it's safe, japan has proved time and again that it can't handle it either with safty measures or the under the table kick backs to hide problems. It's time for the safety nation to think of new methods like Iceland did.

I think if you read a little more carefully, you'll see it states that this was Japanese material reprocessed by Britain and now delivered back to it's origin.

So is this guy a terrorist collaborator or just extremely sad? Giving away secret info like this. Someone asks the problem of this above? Well it means certain people will know exactly what position Obama will be at what time.

So this idiot wanted his friends to see his importance.... Awwww friends, his BFF friends.

Good on you naoto kan. As others have said above it is appalling the way your government and people have treated you.

I think this can officially be called an apology if the translation is correct.

Wrong virtuoso. So very wrong. Showing hitler in this manner really does offend the general sensibilities of your average European and American. It also show how shockingly blatant the jp lack of understanding is. Yes hitler may have been a good public speaker but so is Obama. Why not show Obama in this show? The other good thing about Obama is he seems to want to prevent a genocide. Hitler was scum and openly demanded a clensing of the sub-races as he called them. With all the times jp has complained about things said on western tv (Yamaguchi was lucky/unlucky) you'd think they'd be a little bit more aware of the impact this would have. But by showing it they are only showing how little they care about other people's views on a topic. It really is the us and them mentality.

Everyone please complain to your embassies about this!! In no way is this a thing that should be on tv. It is sick. Hitler was a master at inciting people to commit genocide. All this shows is the Japanese compleat lack of understanding.
