The ads must've driven the writer crazy too, they wrote "hunks" referring to "smap"!! Or has "hunk" taken on a new meaning? In a similar way that AKB48 are called pop musicians?
I'm sorry to say I didn't even notice the ads were repeats till mrs buggerlugs complained of it.

There is no reason to hog tie a 3 year old or any child for that matter. Smart measures of discipline and bribery (depending on the occasion) are what is needed. By discipline I mean reduce playtime, relegate a beloved toy to the top shelf or some such thing.

Omg!! How sick. Kids cause a mess and bounce around, that's how theyre supposed to be. And a 3 yr old boy in a nappy is not such an odd thing. Boys take a bit longer than girls... My 4yr old still sleeps in a nappy and asks to wear one when we go on a long car trip. I hope the mother finds out how it feels to be locked up for 23 hrs a day!! I agree, thank the lord for the brother.

Just a quick note. There is only access to pencils and paper while in custody in japan for abot 4 hrs a day. The guards then read all but letters to lawyers are "confidential" this is as memory serves and I'm not sure if every place is the same but guessing they are.

This book is nothing more than a way to get a reduced sentence or even a suspended sentence because the courts here are famous for valuing NJ life much less than jp!! The Japanese government, NHK and all other media in japan should apologize to the family of Lindsey hawker for this travesty being allowed!! Plz remember that recently the BBC had to apologize for praising japan and mr Yamaguchi!! I think that all British in japan should get together, buy this book so the proceeds go to the hawker family and then burn the rubbish on the steps of the diet building as a sign of out total disgust at the "justice system"!! Not just for Lindsey but for all the other NJ who've been murdered here and their killers not charged properly.

Of course this was post natal depression but also a horrific crime!! There is little or no help or explanation given on this subject to new parents. Fathers have (almost) no idea what PND and there should be a system put into place to help. Mrs buggerlugs was near 40 with our first kid and luckily granny (UK) buggerlugs explained to me what PND is and how to handle it.
I can not even fathom how to process this news and I feel it (joke of a mother) should be hung drawn and quartered. BUT for the sake of children please jp government put a system in place asap!!! My tears are spilling fir you little angel, may a golden light lead you to heaven. RIP.

@soulknyt: no. He did it before. Once would be a prank, more than once is probably becoming or is a perversion. Why is playing with radio controlled toys important? Some of those "radio controlled toys" are very expensive and skilled.

Why are people speculating about the lady wearing a helmet? It's good she's alive!! Also even wearing a helmet, hitting ones head hard enough will cause a stress fracture!! I think the kids father will deal with proper punishment for his spawn.
