[There should be more charges filed, like being stupid in a no stupid zone...] There aren't enough prisons to put most of the population in. Forethought is not a strong cultural asset here.

Obama's just trying to show up GW Bush. So far so good. And he's a gooder speaker...

One day Mitsukoshi will be a ¥100 shop. One large one and it will be the Chinese and Koreans making the profit. The Japanese just took too long to get it. Victims of themselves and their own culture.

Man I always wondered about that first trillionth of a second when the universe was created. Now I will have my answers.

[According to her management, Uehara cited Endo’s violence against a weekly magazine cameraman last spring as the big reason she made the decision. Th efax said: “Rather than stay married and go through the motions, we decided to cancel our marriage and get on with our own lives.”]

If this is her only reason I'd say she's pretty shallow. I mean the guy was only trying to protect their privacy from a papparazzi. Sakura you were braindead before arrival.

I think I know her. Mitsu is that you?

A year from now this'll be in the $2.00 bin. But in Japan I don't expect it to be in the ¥100 bin for a few years. He'll be sold as the next great halloween character every year outselling dracula costumes. Now that'll scare the little boys.

More famous yes. More desirable No. People are just interested in how he died and if there's any more new dirt on the creep. I have no pity for that freak who was the master of his own demise. Good Riddance.

SuperLib [You should stay on top of this story and let us know the details. I think it's great that you've decided to express outrage over imaginary torture in Iraq. It's a big leap over the real torture that you refused to speak of under Saddam.] Hahahahahahha!! Oh man that was a good one. Poor Richard will do anything to praise those who insult GWB but vilify any that believe he did the right thing. The ultimate hypocrite that pretends to care about Iraqis and US servicemen but has very selective pity. Again the left prove their silliness.

Therefore I support Obama's surge and hope that it has some difference in this fight. But we cannot predict the future so it'll just have to be written day by day.

The Taliban allowed Bin Laden and his band of merry men to use the country as a base for their terrorist training camps. So They knew full well what they were up to. The Taliban will have to suck it up to have become the newest Khmere Rouge. That's why we are there. Denying a base to these criminals and if the Taliban don't like it well too bad. They by allowing terrorists to train there have already declared war on us, the west. I support staying as long as it takes to keep denying them that base and hope but doubt that some kind of true democracy may take roots at least. I just wish organizations that have mandates to "protect" human rights would step up to the plate to legitimize it to the world that we are 1 for all and all for 1.

Glad to see Obama stepping up to the plate and I'd like to thank all that voted for him. Nothing like duping people then towing the line all along. The Prez sure is smart. More than I can say for those who voted for him hoping on flowers to bloom in the hills of Afghanistan and all the troopies to come home accomplishing nothing.

I guess global warming isn't so much of a big issue down there as the whales. Aussies know that it will be the whales that will save us from global warming.

Good on the officer that took him out. Weather threatened or not who's to say that this scum wouldn't have been let out again to repeat such a crime. Better to make sure your family is safe than take the chance it comes back to bite you in the butt.

[That is actually quite a funny sentence. I suspect that most liberals can look into a forest of right wingers and pick out the biggest blockheads.]

I can look on JT and see the head in the clouds liberals who expect utopia from their government but on the other hand blame it for all their woes anyway. Damned if you do and damned if you don't when it comes to governing these bunch. Good luck on that Utopia you thought Obama was going to bring you.

[another point that is difficult for Leftists to grasp, as their default solution is the government.] This is true WhiteHawk and to think they are the first to criticize the government but oh so expect it to give handouts. Hypocrites and the leftist can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to hypocrisy.
