People saying I am not an architect are 100% correct. But I did pass basic science and do know about gravity, momentum and acceleration. Damage to upper part of a building, damaged structure at that point gets heated and soft, above weight comes down on it, momentum of that weight falling forces structural collapse of succeeding layers and it's a chain reaction baby. Sorry to dispel any of your conspiracies. Or maybe I have inside information. Who knows? The Shadow knows!

[the first 2 episodes of season 6 haven't resolved much after the jumbles the plot was left in at the end of season 5, and most of it is due to this guy wondering around jabbering in japanese.]

Well GAYMAN do you think you could give it a few more episodes to see if some things will be resolved. What do you expect? Them to resolve everything in the 1st 2 episodes? Get real.

But when daddy pays he will forget the lesson of denial of their beloved youthful comforts such as video games, tv, internet etc. No lesson will be taught to the little uns.

    [They wanted to flee barefoot??]

Got the Idea from Ichihashi. If barefoot the police can't catch you. But a restaurant manager can.

The Brits will continue to beat themselves up with this one. Why don't they just sign their country over to Iran because well Saddam just isn't there anymore.

The statistics of 100,000 of this and that are ridiculous. Good one. "one hundred thousand orphaned babies" makes Blair a bad boy. Some people really blame Bush and Blair for inflating the WMD but have no qualms about their own inflations. Funny.

This article would have been better if it said The Netherlands upgrades airport security. Australia is doing the right thing but how about the country that let the guy get on a plane with explosives? If Europe would only go back to her old ways of profiling then we'd be a lot safer.

A Canadian friend of mine is posted to CFB Trenton and says that everyone there knows as much as we do with this report. It was quite a shock that he was arrested but that no one can speculate about his guilt until a court tries him. So far the only thing the police said they got him on were "geographical" similarities so that sounds pretty circumstantial however we may speculate that there may be more physical evidence for them to make such a high profile arrest. So hang onto your keys yet Richard. Your military is carrying on and so are your police services doing their jobs to high standards. We will have to wait and see if this guy, Russ Williams gets found guilty or not.

Canadian Forces rank structure is as per the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CanadianForcesranksandinsignia and my friend tells me that Captain is a working rank for officers and that it has 10 pay levels within it because an officer can be a Captain for a long time.

So remember as much as you want to hang a military guy right away how you always give the benefit of the doubt to your drug taking friends/selves. Give him the same benefit of the doubt until he has been proven guilty.

Medieval I think you missed the acronym UN not US followed by the word sanctions. Anyway any country that had an "Islamic Revolution" starting by violating the sovereignty of another country's Embassy with violence and holding captives for 444 days well just isn't responsibly stable enough to trust with this technology. I can see it. The UN can see it. But liberals just can't see it. Don't worry Sabi, one day your type will be able to start something that will end the world. You'll end up getting all us infidels.

No the carcass is for research but the meat has to be sold for consumption. That is the deal so as not to have it killed and wasted. Actually many parts are sold for food. Some organs also.

Yes these same people would have cried foul if it were a Watergate Scandal. That got Nixon impeached.

[The Japanese government reacted to that finding by saying that while everybody has the right to express his or her opinion, nobody is allowed to commit a crime for the purpose of expression of such opinion.]

This sounds like what Ossan always tries to tell the great defender of Sea Shepherd and her criminal activity whose name shall remain nameless but begins with H. If you think some guys are going into a bank to rob it you do not have the right to go and shoot them dead. Your suspicions could be totally wrong and your actions would be totally wrong even if your suspicions were correct. And if you took money that they stole to "conduct your own investigation" that also would be you stealing.

Suspecting embezzelment of whale meat is no good reason to commit theft. These whalers risked their lives and were given some of the meat as a bonus. That's their reward for doing a dangerous job. They can eat it, sell it, share it with friends or test it for mercury if they so desire. GP's suspicions do not give them carte blanche to break the law to conduct "their own investigation". Isn't that the idea you same liberals like to say on other threads that involve for example US citizens taking the law into their own hands if they own a gun. You seem to be very against in that case but selectively choose to ignore the law in other cases.

[Taj, I an a coservationist yes, & support SSCS yes, but am not one of them, I am Aus director of another conservation group.]

Ahhhh this is why we hear the same rhetoric post after post about "J-Whalers ramming civilian vessels". I got you now. You are totally and completely BIASED.

The J-Whalers have the right to be there. The SSCS has the right to be there. The SSCS does not have the right to interfere with other vessels. It's called piracy. The SSCS is responsible for an accident at sea.

[Which country is it they're in?]

Let me get that for you cleo. International Waters. It's not one country's waters so if it's not a crime in Australia it's still a crime. One day your beloved Sea Shepherds will be paying by having licenses and insurance revoked. So who insures the Steve Irwin and Bob Barker? ... oh and Ady Gil at that matter.

Too bad about the Bob Barker. I never knew he was such an idiot until I found out he would purchase this ship for them and have his name adorn it. If they are playing with fire they should expect to get burned. It's funny to see the crybabies like hobbsy70 and cleo out here crying afoul when something happens. Too Funny.
