The Big Whopper! Let's face it, Maccas have been caught with their pants down. The people were paid 1,000 yen an hour to swallow the lie. They were recruited on the internet by a recruitment company called Full Cast. In the recruitment blurb, it was stated that they wanted people to work near Shinsaibashi Eki. It did not state that they would be lining-up to take part in a fake hamburger binge.

Good to see old customs surviving in Japan. This would be impossible in the U.S. or the U.K; as people are too obese to be able to sit on stools that size.

It's about time people stopped peddling a 2,000 year old myth. It would be harmless if weren't for all the deaths, misery and intolerance it has caused throughout the centuries.

Many ordinary people are now paying the price for rampant credit spending emanating from the United States. How on earth were banks and finance companies allowed to lend so much money to people who had little or no credit rating. Also, how it possible for some people to have over half a dozen credit cards. In some cases borrowing off one card to pay another. It seems that the drunken credit spree has come crashing down on the innocent as well as the guilty.

Funny. The Taliban believe the same thing. But instead of Christ, they believe there is no salvation without Allah. Hmmm.

I think it's about time to recognize that America and perhaps other nations are sliding into another Great Depression. The big three American auto companies will go bankrupt. It is no use throwing good money after bad. That is the truth of the matter. People are not buying cars. Banks are reluctant to lend money. People are losing their jobs. Homes are being repossesed. The real question is, how long will the Great Depression last? At least through 2009 and perhaps a year or two longer is my guess.

I think there are a lot of people who would like to throw more than a shoe at Bush. He is responsible for the deaths of thousands of civillians in Iraq, in the search for WMDs which weren't there. The guy is a total retard.

The deregulated form of 'new capitalism' that has been allowed in recent years has been a failure. There has also been a health risk to 'new capitalism.' Farmers and factories have been allowed to produce contaminated, poisoned products with lower, regualted safety measures, all in the name of competition and price competitiveness.

One cannot compare Japan to America. The Japanese people are much more fiscally responsible; better educated and have much more sense of community responsibility. One only has to compare the government responses to New Orleans and Kobe. New Orleans was a complete mess while Kobe was rebuilt with a well-organised plan, financed by a government which was in tune with the needs of the people.

The Bush doctrine of Pre-emptive strikes, based on faulty intelligence and ignorance has been a disaster for the whole world. It has the same rsonance of the European crusades of the middle ages.

She needs to go on a homestay at Buckingham Palace and take advice from the British Royal Family. After all, the British Royals seem to know how to kick of their shoes and enjoy life.

By the looks of it, the world is heading for a Great Depression. Everywhere you look, the financial news is grim. Very grim. Governments are panicking. Throwing money at losing banks and businesses. Fasten your seatbelts; stock up the larder, baton down the hatches, we are in for the mother of all bumpy rides.

No. Was the war in Iraq justified? No. Was the war in Veitnam justified? No. Was the War on Drugs justified? No. Was the war on Terror justified. No. Was the war against Hitler justified? Yes. Was the war against British occupation of Ireland justified? Yes. But, at the end of the day, Jaw Jaw, not War War is justified.

Obama is putting forward a dream team with a diverse, non lapdoggy quality. He seems much more intelligent and in tune with the world than the present icompetent, who chose Rumsfeld, Chenney and Rice to promote a disastrous policy abroad.

Which Bush Republican appointee said this with regard to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan Sarge: "Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."
