For starters I wish the J-gov would invest some money into a large solar farm...it would really help during peak times in the summer. Solar power is expensive, but it is very reliable. You could put them in the rice fields, and take the electricity generated profit and give it to the farmers instead of giving them their rice growing incentives.

Spare me the "Doesn´t sound like Japan" BS. I was attacked in the early morning hours in Shinjuku by 4 guys who were in their early 20's, and for no apparent reason either, but probably because I was a gaijin.
