techall, all you are doing is speculating. The air in the plane may be dryer than being outside and on land but there is no evidence reported that this dryness led to dehydration. They took the child to the doctor according to the article and there was "no preliminary cause of death determined". If it was dehydration the doctor for sure would have found it and that would have been the cause. Cardiac arrest due to dehydration. Stop speculating. You have no evidence that the parents are to blame.

Hasn't this actor been doing these commercials for a while now? I remember seeing a SoftBank commercial a few years ago with him and the dog appearing. Anyway, I see no racism in this commerical. Folks should stop having a knee jerk reaction whenever the terms Black and White appear and there is a person with some African ancestry is involved.

Interesting that this issue might harm bilateral ties. I think this is posturing due to the current Japanese government's separation from U.S. wishes.

So basically you make web pages mate? Good to see he's surviving... but all he does is make web pages, this isn't some big new idea... lots of people do it. I do it in order to make cash on the side.
Not sure why you are saying he only makes web pages. Web services design is more than just designing web pages and the fact he is trying to get his clients on board with Cloud Computing means he is handling back end services that are beyond the user interface that a web page would provide.

This guy really appears to be up to no good and the girls exercised poor judgment and hopefully will be wiser in the future but some of the comments about this incident are unbelievable. From sweeping generalizations about Japanese parents, "Don't parents in this country..." and "Didn't Japanese mothers learn..." to "Idiot kids and stupid parents". What's with all the hatred directed to the victims (actual or near) and their families?
Anthony39 makes the best points without the sweeping generalizations.

Beautiful. An attempt to capture the miracle of child development taking place inside the womb. Very nice and good for her that she wants to capture this experience.

They obviously made their comments based on their experiences in Japan. And from this comment, "...and we know it is also somewhere our fellow entertainers love to come." others in the entertainment industry have had a positive experience as well. The reality of the matter is that noborito doesn't actually have a clue about what the average Japanese thinks. Only on what he thinks they think.

Maybe the delay was that she went through several emotional stages denial->fear->anxiety->anger. Whatever the cause for her delay in doing something she didn't like it and grabbed him so that he could be turned over to authorities.
I don't buy this nonsense that implies, "she was asking for it." The guy is responsible for his own actions, yes even if she was naked. Have some self control for goodness sake!

If both sides can acknowledge fault in some way, they can proceed without posturing. That is Obama's angle wrt diplomacy. I would like to know how regret of a country's actions causes harm to that same country. The goal is to get people talking. If you come in with an air of moral superiority, it makes the person you are talking to (especially an enemy) less likely to want to negotiate anything.
If a person wants a country to figuratively press the heel of its boot into another country's neck as the strategy for diplomacy (especially amongst enemies) then Obama's strategy will not be viewed highly by that person.
There is nothing wrong with a leader acknowledging faults and regretting past actions with the goal of the other of acknowledging their own shortcomings to accomplish better diplomacy. Obama's speeches regarding American's actions always has that carrot and stick approach to the audience.
Romney can be most vocal now because he has no responsibility for anything regarding matters of state.

Acknowledging your imperfections is the sign of a secure person and nation for that matter. Don't get caught up with what people are saying about your imperfections. Live by your values and strive for your ideals.

No problem yabits. It seems to me that Obama's style is to try to get the other side to agree with him that both sides have flaws but the more important thing is to get past that and build a future together. Not overnight and not in huge leaps but there have to be things even if small that both sides agree on. Let's start from there and move forward. Those are concrete steps we all need to take in this polarizing political environment.
