I am in Aichi and I was able to get back home from work without an umbrella. It was raining on and off today. It's been windy and cloudy. Since yesterday, rain starts to fall all of a sudden with strong wind. And then it stops. Take care, you guys. Sign board and stuff might be blown off.

There is a good reason for them to be like that. Passion and ambition don't work just like speaking to someone on the train or other public spots don't work a lot of times. It's a culture here.

Right on, Erika-san. But this is not just about the entertainment business, but everything in this country.
And one more thing: She's too skinny... She has to eat a lot more.

I personally think this attitude of the Koreans (and even Chinese) is one core strategy to work on the Japanese government and the Japanese nationals. I do not say it's good or bad because it should be a good tool for Koreans. As Japan becomes weakened, Koreans and Chinese would do it more to get their benefits. I can't predict the future but it may work more than it has ever made. But if those non-Japanese governments & nations do it badly, there's no more chance for them. Strong economy of Japan has helped the JP government be kept ok in appearance, which lasted for decades. This kind of conflict will last as long as the history goes on.

this young man did it so great!
it was good that they (the girl and the boy) were both safe. i remembered, in the past, there were guys who lost theit lives, while trying help out a drunken man that fell down on a train track.
the girl should stay away from alcohol drinks from this day on. she was lucky she was so skiny as to be laid on the track to let the train pass over her. my wife wouldnt have been saved. (she doesnt drink though...)

hey this is nothing new in japan. i have heard this kind of stuff millions of times ever since i was a kid in this country. its a culture here - a perfectly sick one at that.
look all aound, and you will find young men and salarymen at any age are reading manga or a stupid newspaper with pics of exposing females. or if not they are so engrossed with a cellphone stuff or an nintendo ds game. there is no wonder this sort of news happens here and there. and i know they cant stop any of them, saying thats their cultural identity as japanese. so this will happen again and again.

my wife works at a store counter and she always says about those kinda bad customers. things like that happen all the time. they act that way (like this article) because there is a strong belief in this country that "every costomer is god" and so store clerks should be acting extremely apologetically even for those crazy customers. they even make the store manager visit their home for a very humble apology with some token gift, which is so common althogh its not the stores fault. the point is not to clarify if its right or wrong but to ease the crazy customers anger. - so this article is no wonder when you think about the background.

The train announcemets: "The next stop is ***. The doors on the right side will open. Please change here for ***-line, ***-line, ***-line and ***-line."
"Please switch off your mobile phone near the priority seat. For the other areas, please set it to the silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone."
I don't like those expressions (and the accent) I hear on the trains in Tokyo.

"Oshima told police that he first saw the woman on the street in Noda during mid-August, but didn’t speak to her or try to approach her. The woman had reported to police that from late August, her doorbell would often ring in the middle of the night and she would sometimes find urine inside the entrance to her apartment."
--dis behavior tendency is pretty japanese. he dont speak up or try to approach a girl. you think much bout a girl. youll have alot of stuffs in your head n you get totally wrong like you wanna pee on anything related to the girl.
