It's bloody awful. Showing the same winning moments again and again and again...almost amounts to a human rights violation. Is this country that desperate for sporting success? Look at Fukuda's comments today, you'd think Japan was a lesser developed country.
Or is it look we're the best in the world at something? Not that we're interested in the rest of the world and how they're competing, but let's give our collective selves 127 million pats on the back. What a bizarre self-obsessed island Japan is.

I did think those aerial shots were something straight out of a computer game.
Is that even worth two yen? No, no it's not.

If anyone saw footage of Uchishiba calling out to his child in the stands, that was the closest he got! Then his wife and son got on a plane back to Japan! What is up with these people?! Dysfunctional or just weird.
Nakamura is still peeved about her lowly bronze and is in need of consolation.

The whole country is all form and no substance. Apologies don't have to be sincere, they just have to look sincere, and they just have to be done. At the earliest opportunity.
Don't forget what the apologee was wearing, did he shave his head, how long was the press conference, and was his mum telling him what to say or not.

I'm not American, but I see an anti-American comment above from and so feel the need to retort. Jealous of their success much? Congrats to Team USA and may they bask in glory, much to the chagrin of some self-loathing posters.
Sorry that award goes to team Japan. Plus some tears.

This Nakamura Misato is one fired up little bird that looked and sounded pretty disappointed with anything less than gold. Someone needs to put a smile back on her face, and I think I'm just the man to do it.

Should be a good race. The Norwegian has snuck under the Japanese radar and might win it. Hansen for bronze at best. Go team.
