I'm busy typing this out in morse code, so excuse the spelling errors.
I have tried Apple and their oh-so-inventive and amateur products, which is precisely how I know I hate them.
Maybe the mods have taste too? XP is stable. FACT. Vista was not. And again I repeat, if you feel a need to constantly upgrade, you shoudln't be using a computer in the first place. I've yet to know of one of Apple's supposedly amazing products that hasn't suffered from a re-call.
And really, it's no use getting butt-hurt over people who don't like Apple products. There's plenty of morons queing up to by the iPad that can't even multi-task.
If you let your PC get infected with viruses, you shouldn't be using it. I have NEVER had a virus on my computer (virus software is wonderful y'know?) I'd like to join the Luddities, because at least they wouldn't be using Apple.
Bottom line, you love Apple, and great for you. I don't. It's sweet of you to care, but really, don't get so upset over it.
I've got a phone which can cook food, wash my clothes, play my music, turns into a couch and a bicycle with a few touches of it's gorgeous screen. It's so good. I don't ever need to buy anything else ever again.

That's like saying all music is in the Top 40 is the best. Or a DJ in the Top 100 poll is the best in the world. All it means is, the majority of people have shit taste in technology and sound quality. If you like shitty products with shitty sound quality, then good for you. But if you knew anything about music quality, you would sure as hell at least, not own an iPod.
To throw your weak argument back at you, you defeat yourself. By your logic Windows is automatically better because more people use it. Stupidity in the extreme.

The only good thing the iPhone has going for it is Google Maps. Simple a PHONE should be a freakin' PHONE, not a laptop wannabe. Why the hell would someone want to watch Youtube videos on the move?
Sigh. Someone who doesn't know how to use a PC. Windows XP is by far the most stable OS every built, and blows Apple's attempts out of the water. A new OS every couple of years or so? You must be extremely easy to brainwash with advertising if you think that's the case. If you want raw processing, completely customizable options, large internal drives, better video options, more connectivity then PC's are better for you. Ever heard of something call Linux?
Bottom line... if Steve Jobs made a caesar salad, put an 'i' in front of it, put a plastic cover over it with an Apple logo, and charged $400 for the privilige, the 'cool, independent' idiots would be queuing up to by it in their droves. Yes, you included, because that is exactly it; Apple is for idiots who think they're cool by being "independent and different." But if being Apple fan means having to buy shit products, then I'm glad to say I'm not one of the sheeple.

Get rid of all the US troops in Japan. They are not needed here. Let them have their bases etc back on American soil, where they can have all the malls and fast-food chains they want. The only thing Japan needs stationed here is a nuclear deterrent and a few US personnel to man the warheads. Other than that, the rest of them shoudl be just kicked out.
American's presence in Japan is American imperialism under the guise of 'peace-keeping'. All the military I've met/seen here are utter twats, here for a free-ride.

Most successful way to eradicate it? Ban it. Make it illegal to posses it. Close the shops selling. Shut down the sites hosting it.
