You don't see dressing up an animal that already has a nature provided fur coat in "human" clothes to be cruel? The poor thing will be a laughing stock for all its friends! I'll bet dogs think the same thing.

I think I am within the 10 minute delivery area but I can WALK to a McD's in 10 minutes and actually exercise off the calories I would otherwise consume there.
If I really wanted McD's, that is.

It is one thing to argue about manners on a train, it is another to hit the emergency stop button at the station which is what caused the most grief for the 70,000 commuters because it stopped not just that train but trains all up and down that line.

Actually, this has already been made into a film under its original Japanese title "Golden Slumbers"
I saw it on an airplane back in May. While a bit far fetched in some aspects, I quite enjoyed it. Recognising the author's name, I thought he might have a new book out which is why I checked this article out, only to find that it was the same story.
Might try picking up the original if I have time.

I am with Papiquilio. I don't think reality TV shows are very popular in Japan. I was one of the 3 people in Japan that watched the Japanese version of "Survivor" (all seasons) for lack of anything else to watch.
About the nearest thing I can think of is those "Toubou" (Runaway) shows that appears as specials with entertainers playing hide and seek with Men In Black. I think those are a bit of fun but they don't really count as "reality" TV shows.

My concern with "where would like to go?" is how you explain that? I doubt many people fresh of the plane would be able to find their destination on a map and I have heard some really horrid manglings of building/hotel names. Hopefully the passenger would have the address.
Still, I appreciate the effort.

Lotte was only out of 3rd place by 2.5 games. 4th place was only 0.5 game behind that.
Most of the teams in the PL this year were fairly well bunched together. Lotte was only really dominated by Softbank this year so did well to get by them. Complaining about Lotte being "3rd" place doesn't mean all that much considering they only had one fewer win that Softbank. Softbank had fewer losses but many more draws which is why they got 1st place. Heck, even Seibu had more wins than Softbank but they got 2nd.

I think you mean Chunichi instead of Chiba here.
If Chunichi had won last night, (or even if it had ended in another draw) they would have forced a game 8 in Nagoya.
I have been told but haven't yet confirmed that in game 8, they have to play until somebody wins. No ending in a draw.

Lotte pulled of a good one yesterday. Congrats!
I bet Fuji TV was sweating bullets again when the Dragons tied it up again in the 9th. That was the 2nd night in a row that they used up all of their commercials and from 10 o'clock on, they didn't have any sponsors to break away to.
I started watching from about the 5th inning, just as Kawahara was getting his shellacking. Even Satozaki was getting a piece of him.
Not sure why Wada got charged with an error in the 7th. His throw was on target but it looked like it took an irregular bounce. If anything, the error should have been on the infielder (Ibata? 2nd base?)
Good game. Almost wish I could go see them at Tokyo Dome take on the Korean champion this weekend. Probably going to have to work, though.

Asahi.com is saying he was charged with assault. Not necessarily SEXUAL assault.
Could have been worse, I suppose. It could have been a condom filled with someone ELSE's semen.

Might be because there is only one Narita express every half hour or so from Shinjuku for much of the day whereas getting from Shinjuku to Haneda likely involves the Yamanote line where there is a train every 5 minutes.
