He was charged with 2 misdemeanors (resisting arrest and interfering with police officers) and a violation (trespass on the stage.)
One article I read stated that MLE was going to keep him from competing in any other competitions they don't sanction for at least a year. His main source of income is from these eating contests. If he isn't allowed to compete, he won't be allowed to keep himself fed, in a manner of speaking.

And what a wonderful job they have done of it, too! An international airport that is NOT open 24 hours a day.
Yes, I do know why it isn't open around the clock but then it shouldn't have been built in the first place. At the very least, not in the middle of rice paddies in Chiba.

If that were true, I doubt that there would be tins of it in my local supermarket. It isn't consumed on the scale as say tuna, of course.

Thusday? Heck, there was someone screaming in front of my station on Tuesday. Almost makes me want to take citizenship so I could get elected for the sole purpose of passing a law that would ban loud speaker trucks!
I am all for freedom of speech but whatever you have to say can be said quietly so I don't have to listen to it!

If you would care to provide an explanation, I would be willing to hear it.
You stated that there were no illegal sushi bars in the US. I provide a link about a sushi bar in California that closed itself down because it had engaged in the illegal purchase and redistribution of banned whale meat.
You stated that there was nothing in the news suggesting that Japan was shipping whale meat outside of Japan. The whale meat had to come from somewhere. A follow up link stated the only known commercially available place for Sei whale meat (the specimen in question) is from Japan.
Please point out what I have failed to understand.
And, like Tahoochi, I am neither for nor against whaling as I have other things to worry about as well.

That would be this article:

"And since the international moratorium on commercial hunting (1986), there has been no other known source of sei whales available commercially other than in Japan,"

One article I read said it was actually a tricky thing to do because the vuvuzela produces a sound in the same range of human speech so if you try to block it out, you also block out the voices of the broadcasters. That might not be a bad thing either.

Not mentioned in the article is the fact that they are limiting the viewing to only 2000 people and it is a one shot deal.

You are forgetting that the money was set up in trust and accessible by Noriko on condition she remain in a foreign land as a baby sitter for her ex-husband's children. She choice to forfeit her access to that money to return to the place where her children grew up. The money returns to Christopher.
Now, not satisfied that his initial child grab failed miserably, he is suing anyone he can think of because he was unwilling to work things out with his ex-wife. Christopher is shacked up with "the other woman" and taking refuge in a haven for lawsuits and suing to get what you want in spite of what is necessarily right.
Even if Japan had signed the Hague convention, it is likely the children would STILL be in Japan because that was their habitual home for almost all of the ENTIRE existence.

I don't know what's up with your iPhone battery, goddog, but mine works without problems under similar situations.
Full charge, watching a 40 minute TV on the train ride in, my battery will never drop below 95%.
Maybe you need to check your settings. Use manual fetch for mail instead of checking every 5 minutes or so. Things like that.

It is probably "inconvenient" for his new wife and her kids to live in Japan. How would you feel if you were dragged halfway around the planet to live in a strange land you barely knew and deal with a language you may or may not feel comfortable using, far from all of your friends and the family you grew up with.
Oh, wait...

Sorry, your wild accusations are not going to entice me to fall for a scam like an archive search of public records. You are obviously trying to scam people out of money by libeling someone else.
If you really cared, you would publish these so called public records yourself for the world to see. Since you do not, one can only conclude that they do not exist.
