Cleo,
Hear, hear!
This was a screw up from the get go and the children are the only one's deserving of any sympathy.

I am pretty sure it was part of the show. The first couple of bleeps when they were probably mentioning Mohamed may have been done by CC but when they got to the final dialogue, it was pretty obvious it was part of the show and they were making a meta joke out of it.

Had this happen to me once with a free TRIAL version Trend Micro AV software a few years ago. Needless to say, I didn't pay to up my subscription and uninstalled it after I got the PC working again.

I wondered what happened to her. After she left the Sunday news programme on NTV, she sort of just disappeared.

A major league team in Tokyo wouldn't work. The time zone difference would kill the players on both sides.
And Asian league would be intriguing but perhaps difficult to implement. China needs a LOT of improvement to even think about being a competitor

They really do need to work on bringing up some of the younger players. I have a lot of respect for some of the old guys that can play but let's face it, they aren't going to be be able to play for ever. Without some fresh blood, it will be a return to the dark ages for quite a while.

All the velour (velvet?) has worn off the backs from people sitting in them.
And I really have to question whether this was a meeting in progress or not. Politicians often doze off in session but that it usually during the boring parliamentary procedural bits.

Let's not forget how his team (Hawks) were also stealing signs from opposing teams.
He may have been a decent player in the day but he doesn't rank high on my list of favourite players.

I used to think that as well (I am on Tomin Kyousai) but that is not true. There is a life insurance part of the Kyousai (Seikyou) insurance that is deductible from you income which is why they send you slips of paper every year in October to fill out for your year end tax filing. But again, that is only the life insurance portion of your fees, not the bit that goes towards the medical coverage. Oh, but the bits you are paying for your child under Kyosai should be deductible. Just not your bit.

@GW
You are aware that you can claim those against your Japanese taxes for a refund on the amount over JPY100,000 per year, aren't you?
You do need to keep your receipts, of course, but anyone expecting huge medical bills should be doing that anyway. Use of public transport costs (and taxi if an emergency) can also be included.

Is saying "Vote for 'The Hurt Locker' not a $500 million film" really "disparaging" another film?
I haven't read the full e-mail but from what was quoted here, it isn't like he was calling any other film cr@p (he might have done. I don't know.)
