  I signed up to the JET program couple of years ago but they rejected me... I wonder if they were only willing to offer these to gaijins / non-asians? Considering I'm an Asian they probably rejected me based on that...? :(

  I've never tried fugu, but as I've read other comments saying it tastes nothing special and is just plain boring, I probably wouldn't even try it ever...

  Nothing new, I was in Hong Kong a couple of months ago and saw these there! You can easily find them at Apliu Street, Sham Shui Po.........probably a fraction of the price in Japan too!
