She had to take the girl to her workplace when she worked nights.

The mother works as a nurse in a hospital run by her own mother (the little girl's grandmother), so that rather than she had to take her to work, she was able to take her and have…

not only can these guys not solve crimes thoroughly, they can't man a watch bill either.

'These guys' don't have any choice (unless they quit); it's their superiors sitting behind their big desks and working 9 to 5 who decide the crazy working hours, and they are apparently dinosaurs with…

Well I do. I don't bash indiscriminately, and if I bash I want to know that I've bashed. Tell me, which one of you have I bashed?

you generalize too much and are insulting to Americans in general

Anytime a soldier fights for his country (any country be it Iraq or Germany, or Japan.) he is fighting a just war in his mind

Exactly the same argument I made a while back on a Yasukuni thread. Your point here being...?

Starting a war is rarely necessary. Of the…

If a patriotic American dies in a war he wasted his life.

Patriotic or not, American or not, when a person gets killed in an unnecessary war, the people responsible for starting and running that war wasted his life.

Education can't start too early. The key is age-appropriate education. (Where have we heard that term before?)

Toddlers don't need or want flash-cards. They need stimulation - different textures, colours, shapes, sounds, sizes, things they can manipulate with their hands, tunes they can clap or sway to and later sing…
