Who certifies the vast majority of ramen shops when you are guaranteed tasteless "plastic" gyoza and some really terrible pork slices. Japanese line up down the straight for a food nazi ramenya with tasteless large quantity ramen in a hovel restaurant. Let alone all the awful sushiyas - mostly 100 yen. Its clear to me that Japanese chefs never taste their food whereas a top chef in the West would taste uncooked, partly cooked and cooked food to check its quality. What happens when one of these certified foreign chef produce ghastly food like the home grown stuff.

Making Pedophilia pictures illegal is bad for children- making taboo means they can't draw what they experienced and also compels people leaning that way to only choose real children not pure fantasies.

My wife tried to get a refund at Aeon with 3 staff member- none could do it- They had to get the manager to handle it. Japan is land of buffet and multiple dish lunch meals- which are sizeable.

These responses are probably true Japanese response- they act overseas in sleepwalker mode where they compare the traditional sweets and teas with mass-produced foods- not with equivalent products, compare traditional meals with common foods not sophisticated foods and similar. I love the foreign clerks can't calculate the change compare to country with auto-change producing machines and many errors in charging and they have to scan every item- as little as 10 yen items.

Paternity legal suits are just invading of privacy as DNA tests. People asking you impertinently are the father for inheritance? None of your business. The whole thing of paternity is such a load of nonsense- if you act as the father you are the father.

Good chance to force them to stop all their social events- all the BS designed to ingratiate themselves with Japanese society- fake samarai without an ounce of honour.

They can probably forward all mail but that won't help as the previous address will get a notification that the mail is being forwarded - they can't forward just the spouse's mail. The husband can with one phone call probably get the new address and stop the forwarding. Its not designed for this purpose.

Most animals- cows, pigs, chickens are killed quickly to avoid suffering that reduces the quality of the meat- preferably head shot. Fish are captured whole and then killed- their simple nervous system reduces their suffering. Its just not possible to do with whales and other sea mammals. The sea is too difficult to survey precisely to spot their moving heads for a head shot and they are too big to capture whole so the whole process of whaling is extremely cruel to a sea mammal.

Japan accepts a lot more than 10 refugees- they just aren't classified as refugees. Nearly every single Chinese immigrant is a refugee- its a country that has declared one seventh of its population as enemies- Falun Gong practitioners, minorities and religious people. Its a waste to give to UNCR - its such a corrupt organisation with expensive buildings and high priced personnel. Sure they should work on their acceptance of "foreigners" by working with Japanese on the cultural development but laws mean nothing everywhere- things only changed in the 1960's US when people rejected racism.

Nuclear power is not a failed experiment- the reactors mostly handled the situation. Given thorough proper the training even the eventual disaster could have been avoided by releasing the hydrogen gas to avoid explosion- part of its design. The failure of the executives to not properly consider the Tsunami risk was part of it- but if they go further back than the two year ago study then they can find tons more evidence of negligence of them and regulators - will a Japanese court consider that who knows- judges in every country are devoid of logic.

Spray wand in the basin- no this traditional sort of house does not have that on any level.

There are apartments where the bath, toilet etc is just jammed so you can't easily use at the same time.

Can spray your water everywhere- if you want more mould. Only our bath area is tiled. Melanite and fibre board in other areas- don't think they'd last long if you sprayed water everywhere. Our bath is sophisticated but doesn't have 7&8- maybe an option that isn't enabled.

12- definitely not- always hang outside or inside our living room if it rains. 9- is good but then its small and has annoying protuberances that Western bath designers equally fail with having taps.

This should be titled some possibly good features of a great deal of Japanese bathrooms.

    Mr. Trump is my Hero...

deadbaetles -- I hope you are kidding, because all Trump is is an arrogant, out-of-touch, racist buffoon. And, IMO, no one who did not serve his country has any right to critisize a decorated POW like McCain. And I voted against McCain, but not because I did not admire the kind of man he is.

    Trump employs thousand of Mexicans.

A factor in this case is that home room teachers are generally new graduates who feel they have no power. The job is so bad that half of them quit in the first year on the job. That's part of the disgrace of Japanese schools. Homeroom is too important to lumped unto to solitary graduates no matter how the other teachers dislike the job. I'd say it has to given to all senior teachers, principals and administrative staff. Part of this problem is unreasonable expectations of some parents and conversely the general poor response to bullying of parents and teachers who should putting high expectations.

Its should at least be manslaughter if not murder- its not easy to accidentally hit someone in the eye so hard that it penetrates the brain. What a misleading title- it should something like umbrella penetrates brain and causes death. Eye is bad and might lose the eye but it would extremely unlikely to kill.

This will be good for Nintendo Japan- its been its own worst enemy for years by being overly controlling of reviewers. So much for being for fun when they slapped copyright claims against fair use reviews. Hopefully they will stop the nonsense and encourage reviews that get their games out in the marketplace.

Most of Japanese do not think that ‘China wants a peaceful, mutually beneficial relationship with Japan’. They repeatedly invade Japanese territorial waters. They poached red coral near Ogasawara archipelago, Tokyo. Japan's export and import dependence(exports or imports/nominal GDP) on China are less than 3% respectively. So for Japan, China is not an important country. On the contrary, China can not produce a lot of industrial products without materials made in Japan.

And have a war museum dedicated to encouraging young Chinese to shoot Japanese with guns. They are so peaceful. By "rise" they mean claim the rest of the world because there are Chinese people there. Chinese=China=Communist Party.

No because the main result of gun being provided to citizens is more suicides, more accidental shootings and more citizen owned guns being shot by burglars to said home owners- physical security of houses is far more effective than citizens having their own guns. Self-protection is an irrelevant issue. For the USA its pointless, that horse is bolted- to even slightly control should start with stopping gun production for local sales- they have shown zero interest in doing anything about that. Easy to control gun imports. If you think guns are a tool then don't stop possession of miniguns, explosives and every other weapon.
