I believe I tried Les Saisson- its mediocre and massively overpriced. Ami Vibe is much better and much cheaper but there are many cheaper and better restaurants like La Chouchette in Urawa and L`Albret de Pin in Kita Urawa.

Unfortunately Japanese Chefs never taste their own food- we went to a bistro and you see the fat main chef tasting everything and the food was great and their staff never experience their own service that's why it has low uncomfortable seats with bad back rests except by accident.

    Great article.

Disagree the article is nothing but a self serving "see were the good media and social media is bad". The article totally fails to mention that the FBI released the pictures of the suspects and asked the public for its help to identify them. The article absolutely fails in telling the reader the most important reason that Sunil Tripathi was mistakenly identified as one of the suspects. It was because he unfortunately happens to bear a pretty uncanny resemblance to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. That is the only reason.

Social media did not do this because he was a "tea party member" an "NRA" nut or whatever "context' the Ben Smith's of the main stream media feel they are obligated to "spin" to the suit their political agendas.

    Sunil Tripathi

There was no malice involved by social media as the article tries to imply and the appropriate and from what I can tell, very sincere apologies by Reddit have been made. It was mistaken identity and it does happen and anyone who bothers to check the links can pretty much see why.

She is probably just suing to get them to cover her reasonable medical expense- the only way in country without a public psychiatric system- the normal judges would be covered. Free counseling is provided all the time to other law/order/emergency professionals.

Torture is not only slow and ineffective- its counterproductive- the microexpressions (facial responses within hundredths of second to questions or information shown) of the interogated will give you all the information you want.

The intelligence and military believe in torture because of their macho attitude- they train to torture (being nice to terrorist which works is not their thing) and survive torture (otherwise they have no hope). They think they are smart enough to pick lies but often they are worse than tossing a coin.

Fries and chips are different. So are wedges. Fries- thin barely potato. Chips- thicker still crunchy but with cooked potato flesh. Wedge- thick. Its bad that Japanese merge all them together into undescriptive fried potato- most are deep-fried in a pool of hot oil or oven baked. Fried is in pan.
For bad wasei eigo- Goodo Jobu - which you can hear school children mumble all the time but has no meaning.

I and my wife have worked at Japanese companies- managers are only good at avoiding paying their employees legal working conditions and other laws. They are mediocre to lousy at actually doing managing. I worked at a laundry which has not had a new major contract for years and has been loosing them. The big boss put his underlings into trial for second in charge and he choose none of them instead the head of company's other building. A Pizza Shop which website say only permanent employees do pizza but my wife branch now has no permanent employees sited there. She is only one really good at making pizza- total training failure.

I followed this article, and as I dug deeper I found that this is based on a Tweet, which means it may not be accurate. Similar articles in Japanese are all citing the same Tweet as the source of the "3,000 yen an hour" figure. Costco Hiroshima's site doesn't mention parking fees, other than a statement that during their membership drive from March 1 to March 22, parking is free for anyone who signs up.

Sogo Department store and the local gym parking here charge a MAX of 3,000 and 5,000 for the day respectively, but if you buy a certain amount, or get a stamp in the case of the gym, you get a couple hours free. It's to keep people from parking there who have no business there. 3,000 yen an hour doesn't make sense at all.

I only found the reference to Chugoku Shimbun- Middle Japan region newspaper. Where they got the information is unclear.

Anyway I joined Costco briefly and then found its not good value- you can get cheaper food at local shops.

Scammer acts on people who don't mind doing something illegal. Different from conning. You have to wonder this Sumo didn't ask why can't you pay this storage place with the gold. Why can't I visit it. Its got to be dodgy.

There is no way any terrorist with the slightest brain would ever break into a standard commercial nuclear reactor- they are full of pressurized hot radioactive water so in the slight chance they breached the reactor (very difficult from the outside) - there are much easier ways to get uranium and much easier ways to cause radioactive hazards to people that terrorists want to hurt most. The US is mad on terrorist safety with whole group of anti-terrorist groups on standby at reactors but its ludicrous.

Humanrights- your information is out of date and it was only banned for foot-mouth disease control which had nothing to do with food safety.

Huge market in Japan as they actually respond to customer needs. Japanese companies don't understand how to respond to customer needs- case in point Vie de France- I like the food but there is no feedback forms at shops and nothing on the website so I can't tell them what I like and I don't.

My wife worked in a boarding house once and they did all sorts of dodgy tricks to supply the food and the same in supermarkets. They probably have little to no training. Japanese people's understanding of food safety is just down to popular myth and the little their mother taught them.

Most All you can eats in Japan are for a limited time but most time limits are far longer than even a starving person could eat for. Definitely a scam since non-buffet time is included in the buffet time.

Don't trust a line of Japanese. We went to a highly regard ramenya in Oomiya- The place is a dump with supposed no talking rules. The food is awful- highly salted chunk of pork with no flavour in rest of the food. Japanese line up down the street. I think people after eating there realise it awful and given they can't talk they total forget it how awful it is. Apparently there is free multiple toppings given - the only source of flavour.
