It was a pretty boring fight. Choi didn't knock him to the mat so much as Canseco lost his balance and fell. Then he got hit in the back of the head a few times and the ref stopped it. No knock out, no injuury, nothing special. That Choi guy is one ugly dude BTW.

Has Triumph ever made an attractive set of undies? I have seen countless articles/photos of their stuff on JT over the years and it all looks ridiculous. Perhaps they peddle their worst stuff in Japan, leaving the better stuff for other markets. I dunno.

looking for their hanko so they could legalize the sale with a predated document

Even if they found the hanko and stamped the document, it still wouldn't have been legal. I mean, even in Japan's woefully inadequate legal system I'm pretty sure a document stamped by a murderer who stole the hanko would not be deemed legally valid.

There are no stories on JT that incite more rage than these. It baffles my mind how a developed nation can sanction this type of thing. This makes the lesson clear: When marrying a Japanese person you MUST take into consideration the family as well. This lawyer guy in the story married the Wong woman, for sure. I'd like to think that this sort of thing would not happen if the foreign spouse maintains a fairly close relationship with the in-laws, makes frequent visits, drinks and sings enka with them, etc. One can only hope.

OK, so here we have a person who has (1) attempted suicide; (2) posed in the nude at the age of 19 (you go girl!); (3) was engaged to be married and then cancelled the engagement by the age of 20; (4) attempted suicide by slitting her wrists at the age of 21 but blamed it on an "accident"; (5) developed an eating disorder shortly thereafter; and finally, (6) married a "pro" surfer. Oh yeah, she is destined to be a fantastic mother! One can only hope she is (1) on the meds, and (2) remains on the meds.

Like any decent fireman, he found a hottie and asked her to put out. Get it?

This will be nice. We can finally do away with the "box sets" and be able to buy one DVD with every Scorcese film. One DVD with every Spielberg film. One DVD with all Kurosawa films. One DVD with each and every 1990's sumo match ever. One DVD with each and every SMAP concert. One DVD with each and every Iijima Ai movie ever made. Ph man, can't wait. Of course I wonder how much these will cost...

Guys, do you think it's just a coincidence that he looks young for his age AND happens to be the spokesman for Japan's leading plastic surgery clinic??

I don't think it is accurate to say PCP only enhances the propensities of the user. It has been known to cause hallucinations and other strange things in people. This guy bit out the eyes of his son. Another rapper on PCP murdered a friend and ate her lungs. I think it is correct that these may have been violent folks to begin with, but there is no way these guys would have pulled this stuff without being on the drugs.

Wow, don't these planes have systems to detect this sort of thing? Judging by the photo it looks like a United flight.

I am all for having these concerts cancelled, although I admit this is only because the music is bad.

I’ve grown as a result of this movie.

Apparently not in the chest area, nor in the integrity area.

The fact he said it is a delicate time makes me believe he had no intentions of getting married to this woman.

True... That phrase is generally used after a death in the family. i.e., "please let us be alone during this delicate time and don't bother us." Hahaha. Nice choice of words by our man!

Just think, we now have a president who believes in legalised child murder, it deries all logic and belief.

No, logic and belief would have you understand that "murder" is a legal term which should be treated accordingly. Most leglislatures have created an exception within the legal definition of "murder" to exclude the killing of a fetus when the mother consents. (i.e., California's definition states murder "is the unlawful killing of a human being, or a fetus, with malice aforethought" but the statute does not apply when "the act was solicited, aided, abetted, or consented to by the mother of the fetus." So no, Obama does not believe in "legalised child murder," because there is no such thing under the law. To the contrary, he appears to believe in upholding the law. Note the above statute was created by the legislature, who in turn was put into office via the democratic process - i.e., the PEOPLE. Don't like abortion? Go grab a clipboard and collect signatures, or take it out on the legislature, not the president.

Congrats, and condolences, to this brilliant comedian/player. Loved his sidekick's reaction to the news; Hamada reportedly congratulated him, but quickly lamented that the two will not be able to visit Gotanda anytime soon. lol.

By the looks on the faces on some of the girls, at first glance I thought this may be the cheerleading squad on the special olympics.
