Yeah. Pretty good argument there.
Why worry about your kids and their future.

In seeking to compare partisan findings (compiled by one man) which claim some bureaucrat who quit his job because he felt Gov. Palin was exercising undue pressure on him to fire a trooper who drinks on the job and tasers his own kids with ACORN's organized and widespread voter fraud and intimidation (currently under FBI review) and the documented cases of ACORN thuggery in seeking to force banks to comply with what amounted to affirmative action housing loans - all of which can now be linked to Obama - sushisake3 does us the favor of illustrating the kind of tragic moral equivalency that blinds so many on the Left.

"Who's next on the McCain, Palin fictional character list to enhance a sinking campaign? Bob the Builder? Mary the Nurse? Harry the Waste Disposal Mechanic?"
Ask Obama.
Joe was playing football with his kids.
Obama sought him out.
And now Obama's handlers are whining and saying that McCain [!] should have vetted the guy.

Why is Obama of afraid of admitting his ties to ACORN?
It is, after all, the Association of Community Organizers for Reform, Now!
He is one of them.

Better the beaches of Dubai than main street Osaka or Tokyo.
Throw the book at 'em.
Set an example.
I have Birtish friends but seriously, the entire UK took a wrong turn there sometime in the 80's.

"McCain was the one who brought Joe into the debates."
Wake up.
Obama sought out Joe.
Puh-leeze don't tell us are going to blame this too on Karl Rove...

"Only right wing blockheads watch that scaremongering channel and listen to Rush Limbaugh anyway"
I catch Fox maybe fifteen or twenty times a year for about ten minutes or so. Also watch the odd segment that makes it onto YouTube.
Scaremongering? Dick Morris (engineered both Clinton victories)appears on Fox. I see Christopher Hitchens on there sometimes. Hillary Clinton has been known to go on Fox. Senator Obama even deigned to do an interview with Bill O'Reilly a short while ago.
But I prefer talk radio.
Limbaugh, like him or not, reaches a huge audience.
In fact, the two greatest communicators in America are probably Oprah and Limbaugh.
Different media of course but you need only compare the salaries they command. RL could not get the coin he does if advertisers didn't know exactly who his audience is.
I suspect a great many of them are like Joe the Plumber.
I'm right, as it turns out. And your caricature is wrong:
"The talk radio audience is largely male, relatively young and ideologically conservative, although not necessarily Republican. Talkers magazine put the party breakdown in 2007 at 23% Republican, 14% Democratic, and a majority, 58%, independent. Data from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press found a more equal spread among regular listeners in 2006: 32% Republican, 35% Democratic and 30% independent."

Maybe Caveman Lawyer can have a look at http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4740 and clarify something for us.
Seems to me that Joe the Plumber, doing residential work, doesn't need a license unless he is also doing commercial work.

"The War President claimed the rich and elite as his 'base'. If they're the ones who supported him in his policies, what's wrong with getting them to foot the bill for his failure to budget properly?"
You know nothing about America. The Democrats are now the party of the super rich.
Think George Soros. Think Ned Lamont. Oprah. John Kerry and his billionairehead wife.
"Democrats wake up to being the party of the rich" Michael Franc 11 4 2007
(Author uses IRS data.)
"This new political demography holds true in the House of Representatives, where the leadership of each party hails from different worlds. Nancy Pelosi, Democratic leader of the House of Representatives, represents one of America's wealthiest regions. Her San Francisco district has more than 43,700 high-end households. Fewer than 7,000 households in the western Ohio district of House Republican leader John Boehner enjoy this level of affluence."

"First: you CANNOT teach at a public school in the full teaching capacity without the proper licensing. That's law, and union regulations, for that matter. "
LOL. We have a Canadian explaining how things work in our country. Pray tell, smith, just how many American schools have you worked in?
"It's the same with plumbing laws where Joe the Plumber is --he is flaunting the law publicly, and saying he wants to get rich to boot!"
"Plumbing laws" in little ol' Ohio?
Man, how bad is smith's obsession with America?
Joe wants his right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Only a fool or an Obama supporter wouldn't.

Keeping it classy, like 'liberals' always do, the little gremmies at Daily Kos have already published Joe's address and personal info.
That's gonna go over real well on Fox and Limbaugh.
Soak the little guy for doing productive work and terrorize him when he dares to point out that even he can detect creeping socialism.

Obama can't even fool an unlicensed plumber.
Speaks volumes about a national media that has abdicated its duty of keeping the electorate well-informed.

Interesting. The 60 - 68 percent figure here pretty accurately parallels the percentages of Americans on both sides of the political spectrum who believe the mainstream media is openly biased in favor of Democrat candidates.
It shouldn't surprise though.
New media outlets are killing the Old Guard at the NY Times and CBS.
I suppose from a purely business point of view championing Barack Obama makes sense.
And of course, it is the big networks and media concerns who stand to gain (or regain) the most from Pelosi and Reid taking the thoroughly insane, Luddite road of imposing the so-called Fairness Doctrine we chucked back in the late 70's.

sezwho,
"Stuff was made up with the purpose of invading Iraq."
Sorry. I need something a bit more specific than 'stuff'.
"The purpose in invading Iraq was to remake the Islamic world so that it would not be a threat to the freedoms which the terrorists supposedly envy."
The entire Islamic world? Interesting. I think the Arabs of the ME account for about 20 percent of the entire ummah.
I don't recall Bush or any politicians saying that the likes of those who carried out 9-11 envy our freedoms, I recall them saying that Islamic supremacists hate our freedoms.
