Two words: international waters. Or, even worse for Japan, Australian waters. Australia owns 48% of Antarctica so anyone within, I think, 200 kilometres of those parts of Antarctica are in Aussie waters. And hunting whales in against the law in Australian waters. Hope the Japanese don't get arrested as well.

WTF are Panasonic doing? If Goldman Sachs could sell their shares for 148 yen on the market, why would they accept 130? Takeovers must be for significantly higher prices than the market. I would say 250 yen is a much more realistic offer.

NZ is famous for incredibly changeable weather. It can be sunny and warm and then an hour later freezing cold and rain. On the mountains it is more extreme so lots of people die because they don't prepare equipment for any situation.

ASPCA/RSPCA is a waste of time for anyone worried about animal welfare other than for pets. I think PETA are better in that they care about all animals, not just the cute ones.

Good work Ama. His fighting style is pretty interesting, better than 'Wan Pataan' Chiyotaikai. However, that makes 4 Mongolians and 1 Bulgarian in the top two ranks along with only 3 Japanese, none of whom have too many years left. It's yet another nail in sumo's coffin.
