Doesn't work with Japanese high profile sportsmen.Darvish and Ryo Ishikawa to name a few.Don't need some clingy girl to hinder your progress.Enjoy yourself without the baggage.

The Aussie team played like a bunch of fairies there to pick up an easy paycheck.Or was it because of the cold? Both teams left me unimpressed.

After postponing for 18 months I intend to raise the tax for sure, regardless of economic conditions, which is a significant change. "

If regardless of economic conditions, why are you wimping out by not doing it as was scheduled?

In the 25 years that Japan has been in a recession, the main reason that it has been so prolonged is that govts have not taken the tough decisions to reverse the situation. And the wimping out by Abe in the increase is indicative of a typical PM in Japan.Abenomics is clearly damenomics.

As long as it's not halting, stilting English then I'm fine.I already have to deal with that in my j...o...b.

Does anyone care what Obama has to say anymore? His positions have been discredited and abandoned by just about all supporters. I'm just waiting for his replacement. His halo/moral authority went a long time ago.

My feeling is is that if it's not put up in Oct 2015,when will it? Aside from Hashimoto in 1997 doing it, no subsequent PM has had the guts to do so.I don't count Abe cuz he inherited the plan.Koizumi with his insane popularity should have done it but he was too busy being a celebrity PM to do something of relevance. Unless Abe remains the PM,there's no way that anyone succeeding him would put it up.It's an election loser. So Abe needs to stand tall and persuade the populace that the short term pain is for a better and brighter long term Japan.

That goes without saying.Basically to reel you in they offer such and such a low price, but after the surcharge is added,it doesn't feel like such a good deal as advertised. In essence,it's a money grabbing tool which is here to stay.

That president was pretty rude to Abe but not unexpected, both culturally and politically.Though Abe got him back with his attire by wearing the blue outfit instead of the red worn by him,Putin and Obama.

He wouldn't call a snap election without a promise of the tax increase not being put off for a year or three, would he?

My ol' lady was reading in the newspapaer an interesting suggestion. It was to drop the consumption tax to 5% and then in a year's time bump it to 10%. I like the idea and was always against the 2 stage increase.Shoulda been done JUST the one time and done increase.

It's about time that Japan got a Japanese coach for it's team.

How about an English speaking coach/English coach for a first?

“We are also confident these changes will not hinder lawful trade and travel between our nation and our trusted foreign allies in the Visa Waiver Program,” Johnson said.

America openly making it a hassle to go there under the guise of security and charging you extra for the inconvenience with this new B.S. Definitely don't wanna bother with going again.Though only Hawaii a second time really interests me. What the "so-called trusted allies" need to do is break off some of the same reciprocal behavior in protest.

I wouldn't be too sure. Sugiuchi is making $5 mil a year and Settsu is making $4 mil, both of them ace pitchers on their respective clubs.

That goes without saying for an ace.The article points out Wada only made his major league debut in July. And that's my point. No rook is getting that kind of money in Japan.

Ain't no way in hell he could get that kinda money if he'd stayed in Japan.Except over 10 years maybe.

I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me,”

Dunno how God would feel about having his name used in this manner, particularly as he began things with a man and a woman. Leave him out of it and just say if you really must, that you're that way inclined. And God bless ya.
