since there is no quality control for hostess clubs in Japan you have a better chance of running into a disappointing club rather than one you would want to go back time and time again. The later being the expensive one.
Anyway, 20-30% thinking about it means squat. Think about it all you want like all those tv announcer wannabes... reality is they already have too many hostess clubs and they can only take customers from each other. Times change and different types of hostessing will emerge to comfort the new age kids. I believe there are a few where you can go as a couple...

no way, with the reading of more junk on the internet and mobiles as well as Manga speed reading kids of this age should be reading 200% faster.

I thought they already had enough copies going around. How about they just dump a digital print on www.meinkampf.org or something.

been here 25 years, never been in a fight, never seen a fight, never seen anyone ever get punched... in fact I have never seen any of the above overseas either. Must be because I don't hang out in the middle of Tokyo after midnight and seldom go by places like Shinjuku. All I can say is at least very very few people carry guns or knifes in Japan and I can still feel safe after dark in the subways, most back streets, bars, taxis, etc which is more than I can say for any other major city except perhaps Helsinki or Auckland which is small small small in comparison.

and I thought the 9 years kidnapping incident in Japan was horrific. I guess humans are capable of breaking records in both good and bad. Looks like this will become yet another case study for the would be psychologists.

of course it's all scripted, its a demo drill conducted in a civilian area. The more dramatic stuff goes on behind the scenes like any other agency around the world. Same with the once a year fire and earthquake drills to remind people of potential danger.

just ask to see their police badges and upon confirming the authenticity show them your passports. If in doubt use your mobile and phone 110.

also depends on what each individual considers rape. Even in other countries the laws can be quite vague. Now what I would like to see is the stats on male rape in Japan.

the burger as itself looks perfect, but the size is not. Anyway this is just a publicity thing. A group of girls would buy it and share it much as you would with a 10 scoop icecream or bucket of popcorn. http://g.pia.co.jp/shop/86121?view=menu

sick, just plain sick... and yes the pachinko parlor should take some responsibility if they expect to take money from a mother with young children. In this instance even more so since she took her son into the parlor and having found the children’s room already full probably came back within 5 minutes without her 1 year old son. As for leaving a 1 year old kid alone in a car for even 5 minutes is just plain criminal. They should just make it illegal to leave a kid unattended especially outside the house. I hope the children’s room is smoke free!!

very confusing... did he unscrew and open the wall socket to cut the wires? I guess he cut the wire for the washlet, but to actually have him on film cutting the actual wire??? I have to assume they filmed him exiting the toilet.

I have to say Facebook is so full of junk already. The number of crap programs people have built for the system is beyond comprehension and all of them poses some sort of security risk. It will for the forseen future remain a kids SNS and repository for school kid photos.

well, one sick crime a weeks isn't too bad in figures. What does scare me is the day these types of crimes become so common place like many other countries it's not even considered newsworthy. Lets see what hits the news this weekend as the drunk ones scamper around the cherry blossoms.
