Getting food not laced with radioactive isotopes would be a start.

breaking the light speed barrier is impossible, but has nothing to do with other forms of time travel. Even if you could travel faster than light it would not be a very economical, viable or a safe method of doing so. The simplest and cheapest method is to setup your own starting point gateway today and leave it open. If in 10 years you feel the need to come back you can hop in to the current gateway which is connceted to the start gateway and go back 10 years. This is mainly achieved with lots of mirrors and lasers creating a vortex. Other methods to travel large distances can also be used to time travel like worm holes, black holes, multiple dimensions, loop effects, quantum jumps not to mention the speed of thought, but nobody has really even studied that yet. I would love to know what the speed of things like telepathy, instincts, intuition, dreams, love and so on are if one day calculable (I assume all things can be represented by NUMB3RS)

Nuclear power has always been evil because we cannot contain it. To this date we have no way of cleaning up the waste and need to store if for millennia to come. Just think about it? Would you play with a deadly virus that can wipe out mankind just because it is a cheap cleaning agent. Nuclear power is not clean. Sure you could store all the coal and oil power plants toxic fumes into one big plastic bag along with car exhaust and other CO2, but you don't call that clean either. Even if there was a safe way to dump the waste into space, you still don't call it clean.

If your paying more than 10,000JPY for a hotel in Japan as a tourist then you're in the wrong hotel. Your only going to use it for sleeping in. Any of the business hotels like Tokyu or JAL hotels are fine, but perhaps something a little better than the 4,800JPY - 8,000JPY room would be something like Villa Fontaine group hotels.

Posted in: Why do tourists continue to stay away from Japan, despite the fact that there are many places of interest far away from the crisis-affected areas? What should Japanese tourism officials do to promote Japan as a safe destination?

Please don't. Instead of wasting money on that how about Fukushima Nuke in 3D, I hope somebody is filming for a 3D documentary. I'm sure Discovery or BBC can do a nice epic non-fiction film.

You could have all the security in the world for your house, but if somebody drives their truck into your living room and makes way with your notepc with sensitive data on it, your still going to expect the FBI to help look for the perpetrators. Sony is the victim regardless of any negligence on the level of security. That is another matter for the courts.

don't use your real name (just part of it), have a po box box setup or route your mail indirectly, use a prepaid mobile just for Internet transactions and have a credit card with a low daily limit just for shopping carts which you can cancel on a moments notice and not have to worry other lifeline payments being affected.

Which is why you want to store data spread over a cluster of encrypted servers. Break up the data into 3 or more pieces and have them stored in different data centres across the globe. If you hack one of them you only have an incomprehensible jumble of numbers and letters.

kids get lost even if your standing right next to them. They see things differently and at their height the whole world is warped. Unless they look up they can easily mistake someone else in the same jeans for a parent and walk with them and get lost.

If the weather holds I foresee loads of people going for hanami this weekend. Maybe not so much with the karaoke and drinking, but none-the- less picnicking with family and friends.

nope, Japan has the traffic lights on the same grid as everything else with no backup power. You would think that with the new LED traffic lights they at least incorporate solar power with battery to save energy as well as for emergencies.

maybe they can use slightly irradiated tobacco leaves. I suppose they could donate all the profit to charity, but I would have still preferred they just tear the factory down and slap a 1000% tax on imports.
