Not quite free if you own a business and have equity in it. Plenty of CEO's have $1 salaries simply because the salary is miniscule compared to any other compensation, bonuses, commissions, stock, etc...

just continue to call them the disputed islands, makes for a great ice breaker at political events. It's good to have some disputed territory that multiple countries can relate to and waste time talking about nothing.
Now, my question to all of you is for the people living on the island: 1) Who do they pay taxes to? 2) What is the area phone code? 3) Postcode and address? 4) Which side of the road do they drive? 5) Main currency? 6) Who is paying for maintenance, roads, clean water, etc? 7) Main language, schools, hospitals, etc?
As you can see if life is moving along regardless of the political aspects then who cares...

Good point, if your a Premium Citi Gold Card holder then your Citi Gold Credit Card Fee is waivered, however NWA Gold Card would not be. You can use your points to pay for it, but not aware of any Gold Card with millage that is free. On another note they will also through in a Diners Card for free.

Goes to show if your in the right business bad economy can be profitable. Not sure if this is the case for Nintendo with everyone locked inside the house playing on the Wii or DS, but I guess it plays a role.

11x5km should be covered in a few days with 40 men and dogs using a standard search pattern over thick terrain. Thermo imaging would help assuming he is still alive. Pity he didn't carry a SOS homing device, CB radio or GPS locator.

sounds like a scam, the police use tax money to pay for the removal companies (literally the furniture removal guys) and then sell the bikes for a price and pocket the money. Meanwhile the old geezers who run the impound farms are usually retired police men. Either way for a country that talks about green and eco I have to say they are not very friendly to the cyclists. Perhaps the same tax money spent on FREE parking and better facilities would solve all the space problems as well as enticing more people to cycle.

European1, if you really must send an SMS then Softbank is your answer since the backbone is Vodafone. But, then to not have an email address for your mobile to me is really backwards. Actually any mobile that is GSM ready for overseas usages (DoCoMo, AU or Softbank) would have no problem with SMS. Personally I'm waiting for 4G to kickoff.

Japan has invested for a rainy day. The superficial (virtual) financial decade has come to an abrupt end and now the product making superpowers will thrive. I just hope Japan will get back into the game of renewable energy, robotics and bio-tech ASAP.

ummmm so there was enough space on this crowded train to pull back far enough to throw a full punch and hit the woman in the face and break her jaw?? You would need at least a foot behind you to throw a punch. Maybe it was an upper-cut?
