in a related side story, why does a 38 year old man use a love hotel? does he live with mommy and daddy? i will never understand this. my married coworker takes his mistress to one every friday. he gets home at about 5 am on saturday. yet his wife believes his "working late" story and his mistress thinks he is single. if it were me the girl would want to come over to my house.

ossan, to use your logic i will respond. when bush was in office we had 2 attacks. before bush there was zero attacks.
honestly, bush and his cronies are idiots. i could have run this war btter. mistake after mistake and you keep supporting him? ww2 was only 5 years and we have been in iraq more than that. any new administration would be better.

Pakistan has not done their job in preventing the movement in and out of Pakistan. The US should be able to go into that country and do what they want. The reason? simple, when you are giving a country 1B a year to stop this and they are not doing it then you have to do it yourself. or, how about the US stop funding Pakistan?
and if Pakistan troops open fire then they will be decimated.

your friend was in a holding center not prison. i was there too for about 4 days until i paid 500K JPY to get out. it is a scam. a friend of mine get taken for 1M JPY recently. just remember, if you are ever in a fight/disagreement and the guy wants to call the cops then just run away. there is no due process here. i was in a fight and it was my word against his. i lost. he wanted 500K and i said NO. then i sat in jail for 4 days and paid my lawyer 500K to get me out (bribe to someone) plus an additonal 100K to the government.
food - rice, bread, honey. no meat no shower - once a day you can clean up in a sink. 2 smokes in morning i could read english but only between 10-6. my glasses were taken from me a 6:01. i had my own cell. at night you are provided a futon, pillow and blanket. at 7 AM this is taken from you.

yes, it seems there is more startegy in both equestrain and baseball than softball. to just have one person pitching every single game is a joke. they should move back the mound or give more of an advantage to hitters in some way. this would make the games higher scoring and prevent one pitcher from dominating. of course, dominating once in a while is great. but dominating three games in two days is a joke for the sport.

That is the reason this sport is going away. One pitcher for the Japanese? She can pitch every game and every inning? At least baseball there is some strategy and a guy getting tired. the coach (who may be a man) didn't have to do much except watch uneo pitch every inning.
plus, how about the rule on walking someone. they just can say this person walks without throwing a pitch. what a stupid rule. if the japanese were going to walk the american big momma every time then they should have to throw 4 pitches.
racist?? not sure about that. but watching the guy in last run around the track with one shoe pretty much sums in up. it is not the athtletes but the announcing and TV converage that is just horrible.

mindyou - i remember seeing darvish pitch a few innings? isn't he japan's #1 pitcher?
they should do this like softball where the top 2 seeds can lose and still have a change (i.e japanese softball) to win it all.

because afganistan had training camps for the terrorists who were involved in F0911. don't you read the news or are you just trying to incite?

hopefully, this will cause the US to stop buying Korean cars. honestly, my dad bought one and it broke down just as bad as a Chevy. the only redeeming quality is the 100,000 mile warranty attached.

lose "friends"? these same friend's who would cut your head off in a second. this is war.
honestly, do you actually think a group of people walking harmlessly down a road, singing, dancing in marital bliss would be attacked? try putting down your anti us resentment for a second and think about this for a second.

all of you against the death penalty would sing a different song if your child was raped or murdered.
I suggest two alternative plans. painful execution - hanging is best. or let the person go and provide his/her release information to the public.

mccain is a bigger idiot who was wrong from day one on iraq. plus, take a look at his little enron energy loophole he supports.
in any case, the US will have to eventually do something because europe and canada are too weak and have no spine to do anything.

there is no evidence against this guy. basically, a prostitute and her mother are making the claims that the jpolice have already discounted. come on, if the jpolice could charge rape on a serviceman then they would do it in a heartbeat.
maybe she was having that time of month?

nothlondon, exactly. i actually live near Arisugawa park and go to the baby area. two things i notice the most. 1). compared to Japanese woman the western women are huge. 2). i often catch horribly depressed western men staring at these woman. think about it for a second. you just had a kid and you wife is telling you that fat is ok because she had a kid. then you go and see asian women who keep themselves thin (heredity probably) after birth. in my opinion, no matter how much you love someone that has to suck.

It is funny how many of you think Iraq was a little garden of eden before the invasion. In fact, it was a ruthless dicatorship that controlled the population by killing anyone opposed. And let's not forget the Kurds or a little invasion in 1991. Now, taking that in mind, if my country was attacked and the evil dictator (i.e. mussolii) was killed then i would not fight back. why didn't italy, germany, japan fight on against the occupier? your point makes no sense. sane people do what is best for their country. brainwashed or terrorists blow themselves up and kill their own countryman for no purpose but to cause anarchy.

some of us work 10 hours a day in an english speaking office. plus, the stress level is enormous. so, please explain how we have the time to be fluent in Japanese? for some of you working 6 hours a day teaching i really don't think you can compare our lifestyles. as far as staying in Japan based on language ability, maybe they should base it on tax amount paid instead.

I thought Juno was a very good movie and showed life as pretty much reality. do we really need another movie where she has the kid, gets married and lives happily ever after? is that what you want to see? if so, that is not real life.
some posters seem very bitter.
