One more comment please. for those who claim the war a failure let's not forget who controlled the slum area that has the problem. secondly, please provide us what you would have done in 2003. i am assuming that you would have not invaded and thereby saddam is still in power. so, this is OK? i would be interested to know how your plan of doing nothing would have worked. that is basically your plan right? in 2003, the us should have done nothing and the world would be better off now? but since all of you actually had or have no ideas except bash the US i am assuming there will be no responses.

this guy is grasping at his last straws of power. he basically controls his slum with words against the big bad US instead of creating jobs. honestly, wouldn't this fool be better off aligning with the US and creating jobs for the thousands of unemployed kids holding ak47s?

this story is a complete lie on so many levels. at least in my office where the OLs would not waste their time on any entry level person. they are looking for much much more.

iran would be crushed in 2 weeks. they know that. the same happened with iraq. the problem there was occupation. but airstrikes alone would destry everything in Iran.
And if Israel is nuked? i would guess Tehran would be next.

at least israel went out and created an economy. maybe hamas should worry about this more so their people would not be starving. typical arab country alwasy blames others for their problems. look in the mirror. put the ak47 away and read a science book.

why should i pay for a killer's meals three times a day, TV and internet, and food, water and clothing?
I think we should go back to hanging or more painful executions. maybe if someone knows what will happen they think twice. maybe not but maybe. look at charles manson getting TV converage. this guy killed how many people that never had a breath again but he is still living and painting pictures? how long did john wayne gacy live on death row? imagine how you would feel if he raped and killed your son.

It is my understanding that Jane's case was never proven. I am wondering why her story is always considered fact on JT. I frankly don't believe her. Maybe she just wasn't that trust worthy? If you look at the recent cases, the guy was arrested and held even though the charges were dropped.
I think she is just looking for attention.

First of all, the only people who listen to this guy are the people who live in the slums. he is the leader of the poor who are the least educated people in Iraq. how hard is it to brain wash kids w/o jobs or a future? and his plan is what? ok, get rid of the US will create this many jobs? actually, what is his economic plan?
by the way, i have the same disdain for Republicans who voted for Bush.

In any case, the military offers those without the desire to go to college a chance at a career. Plus, it offers those with no money a chance to have their college paid for. Except for the dying part it is a win win situation for many.

notimpressed - did these japanese baseball players talk to you about their dreams? i don't think so. and baseball is played in north america, latin america and asia. two of world's 3 largest economies play it. so, what is the big deal about keeping it? my guess is that because it is not played in Europe it should be dropped. last time i checked england wins about 1-2 medals anyway so who cares.
In any case, i think rugby should be added. but why drop baseball. there are many countries that do play in latin america and asia. and for these countries this is all they have; similiar to rugby for countries like fiji, samoa, etc.

First of all there are probably just as many countries that play baseball as rugby. Cuba, costa rica, mexico, puerto rico, dominican rebublic and Korea all play baseball to name a few. And the World Series is actually the world championship because the best players in the world play in the US. These may or may not be Americans. Or you could argue the Baseball World Cup is the championship which Japan won. but then why do all of the bast Japanese baseball players go to the US?

why would Rugby be added and baseball dropped? Both are only popular in their respective countries. For me, drop trampoline, rythmic gymanstics, and there are too many swimming "medleys". add baseball, rugby and cricket, 250/500 motorcycle races,
