Oh maglev you silly person you.. I'm going to take a fairly educated guess and say that you've never taken a college level economics course.. Society has no utility for another lunar landing at this time. Things were very different in the 60's during the cold war era which I doubt you were old enough to remember.
The only way space equipment would be cheaper now than it was then is if it was mass produced, the only way anything gets cheaper. Lunar landers and their unique equipment are not things that are mass produced. Rather due to inflation it would be more expensive, even if we were to build exact replicates. A house in the 60's here cost around $20,000 to build, and for comparison a similar house today COSTS around $400,000 to build. The same is true with shuttle launches, not to mention the increase in labour costs. The only purpose of a another lunar landing would be to confirm previous six landings, even then i'd assume you'd want even another landing to confirm the seventh new landing, and on and on... Meanwhile there are much less expensive means of proof, which i'll add have already been utilized. The european space agency, indian space program, Japanese program, and even google, have confirmed the landings each with independent methods. Next time you finish watching an outdated conspiracy documentary, take a moment to apply the scientific method and review the latest data.
