Ha ha. There's a joke going round that with Thatcher dead and Fergie retiring there must be a scouser out there somewhere with one wish left. If he wants to make Liverpool a one-city club this would be a good one - "Arry doesn't just take you down, he'll leave you in financial ruin too!

Reality will now bite for United. I mean, they need a genius manager just to be successful enough to pay the interest on the debt that their blood-sucking owners have thrust upon them. Can see them not even qualifying for the CL under Moyes. Many of their players, e.g. Evans, Jones, Valencia, Young, Cleverly, Anderson aren't even as good as what he has at Everton already.

Actually Dortmund is also in Europe. In fact, they are doing rather well in a little known competition called the UEFA Champions League, without Kagawa.

How many of those players come from countries where the population is over 100 million, football is one of the most popular sports and the people are relatively wealthy. Also people in Asia tend to follow players rather than teams.
Could United by cynical enough to buy a player just to crack the Asian market? Well, remember Chinese player Dong Fangzhuo anyone? He was on their books for 4 years, made 1 first-team appearance. Kagawa is good though, might play a bigger role next year, especially in they can successfully offload Rooney.

Anyone who thinks you've got to leave England to hear unintelligible English with weird grammar hasn't been to Newcastle.

That's because BBC and Sky Sports have the laziest journalists around. Try listening to Guardian's Football Weekly or Gab Marcotti's The Game for more sensible punditry.
This result is good for football. Endless possession and tiki-taka send me to sleep, Bayern have the right mix of skill and aggression.

CL is way more important than domestic leagues now, for the big teams at least. I think Dortmund have as good a chance as anyone left in the competition.
Probably.

Apparently many fans were leaving during the title celebrations. Looks like that expert they brought in to improve the atmosphere isn't doing too well. Either that or they ran out of prawn sandwiches.
Wonder how Shinji Kagawa will feel watching his old team still going for the big one this week. I know where I'd rather be.

Meh. Where was Van Persie's magical left foot when they needed him against Real Madrid? United seem to do well against poor quality opposition. Lucky for them they play in the Premier League.

Ivanovic was holding him off with his arm, so Suarez tried to bite it off. Six of one, half dozen of the other.
Great player, hope they don't throw the book at him.

As the article says Google already support this (since 2011). The article is very kind in saying they are offering an enhancement. It could have been worded "Microsoft finally catches up with Google with optional two-step verification".

Let's be realistic.
1 - Worlds like "child molester" or "terrorist" only appear in very rare circumstances after typing in someone's name.
2 - People are well aware that multiple people can have the same name. If there's anyone out there called Richard Reid who has successfully got a job in the last few years, it contradicts your statement.
3 - Employers look more at your LinkedIn profile or other evidence of your professional activities.

Some people have had success manipulating autocomplete using Amazons Mechanical Turk. So if he gets it, all he needs to do is take his 300,000 yen, enlist the help of the Turk and get people searching for his name followed by "employee of the year", or "has the world's highest recorded IQ", or whatever he wants to be associated with. His next job will be awesome.

@Probie
Manga and anime are widely used terms to refer to specific genres. I bet they are in most English dictionaries. Do you have a similar problem with terms like BritPop and chick-flick? Are you like "no, call it music!", "no, call them movies!"?

Wow, you're sure of an awful lot. Wired.co.uk says that "the court didn't go as far as saying that autocomplete was the cause of the man's unemployment": http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2013-04/16/google-japan-ruling
Anyway, if it is the case that he lost his job, maybe he should try to sue the company he worked for - he might get more than the insignificant 300,000 yen he was awarded.

Yes - and in double time and for a fraction of the cost. I mean, we didn't even have to read the paper or spend years studying the field to deliver our damning, logic-defying verdicts.

Yeah, give us a break, even if there were people in Antarctica 600 years ago, the thermometer wasn't even invented then, so how would they even know what the temperature was? They're lucky we weren't reviewing this paper.

It matters if the argument was racially motivated. In most places the police would say one way or another, although to be honest I doubt this would even make the local news in a lot of places.
Anyway, why complain about too much information in a news headline? Its not like its too difficult to read or anything.

Watch Adebayor"s penalty on YouTube. He was trying to miss. There's no other explanation for that. I'd be ashamed to take the money.
