Do not talk decomracy or human right craps here. Kadeer wants Xinjiang independent from China and she is enemy number two (dalai is number one) of China and Chinese people. If japan hosts enemy of China, of cause China will not happy. Plan simple and do not play human right card here. Xingjiang to China, it is sovereignty issue , not human right.

Japan's complaint to China's rare earth sale is understandable because Japan does not have the resource. USA complaint? What for ? You america has fourth largest land in the world and plenty resources then why you do not dig them out and process them? Oil and gas are another example. USA has large resources of oil and gas but it does not drill them out but buy from other countries (this is why so many wars in oil rich countries then and now). Why, is that because you, USA, want to reserve these resources for your later generations? Clever ha? Alaska has a lot of mineral, oil and gas. Please go there and dig them out for yourself. China's resource is for Chinese and those do not have any resources, not for you rich and greedy america.

The time for japan to give a full apology to Asian but particular to Chinese has passed. The right time to do so was around 1970 when japan started to improve relationship with China with a lot financial help. At that time, China (Chinese) was very weak and was appreciated for the help. If japan at that time gave a sincere apology for japan’s wrong doing in 1930 and 40s (including Nanjing Massacres), Chinese will accept apology and would not raised issue again and again like now. However, Japanese politician and some Japanese were/are so stubborn and self interesting that they do not want to make any sincere apology. OK, now China get stronger and stronger in both economic and military fields and a strong China makes it difficult for japan to apologize because japan does not want other to think its apology is due to its weakness. This is very unfortunate but it is a fact. Such situation will last very, very long time and may for ever. Sorry to say this.

joseph, China's development was/is/will be no illusion. You must either live in another planet or day dreaming. Wish is wish but reality is hurting. China will go ahead and became a strong and prosperous country.

70 years ago Japan bombed Darwin. American will come to Darwin now. It is 70 years too late, isn't it?

There will be no US navy or army base in Australia. The news was a false alarm, typical western media - free to spread rumor.

What a big deal? China also has rented a satellite tracking station in Australia for the recently spacecraft docking. USA can put its navy in any country where it wants and who cares as long as it does not put its navy/army in China or Taiwan.

"I hope that the media in China will not make a meal out of it." Japanese media have made big meal out of it already.

knowitall, did you say that japan docked to IS lab? Are you kidiing? Every media said that China is the third country to do it after USSR and USA. How come japan has done it? In your dream? Japan has not done it indipendently for spacecraft docking. It was from USA's help (always in this way, even your own security). Why I comment bribe issue with spacecraft docking? Because I think japanese media is biased and only report bad things about China and Russia. I want you guys to know that there are planty possitive things happening in China and Russia. It is good to attract somebody's attention in this forum to know the good new from China and Russia. Objective achieved, great.
