TNR. I hope he "fixed" the cats while also feeding, or all of his goodness/badness will have been for naught once he goes to jail.

What is it that people say when the roller coaster is about to start? Heeere we go...just hope there's transparency and no filtering and cover up. It's a problem that can impact all of Japan and the world so it's vital that information is transparent. Any bets on this? One final comment. Someone chain Murphy to the ground and keep a guard over him.

A lot of people are behind you, stick to your guns. As for the comment by Yamazaki, "...do nothing to tarnish the name of the Diet." What a joke. How many politicians in the Diet have done worse than handing a letter to another human being?

TV and movies went after you and barred you because of your political activism, and it's a feeding frenzy now. Stick to your guns Yamamoto-san! You can't please everybody all the time, if you believe in what you did, then stick to your guns.

Well this just ruined my morning. We have a stray that adopted us and she has proven to me to be a magnificent creature. We have three dogs and I used to be a dog person, but this little lady really opened my eyes to the wonders of the feline species. I'm convinced that homo sapiens are the worst.
By the way, there's a theory that the superstitions that we humans imposed on cats could have been one of the reasons why the plague was so widespread in the middle ages. The ignorant humans persecuted women who they thought were witches and burned not only them but their cats as well. While the cat's away, the mice play and the rodent population and the fleas they carried prospered; the rest is history.
Catch the person who is responsible, bad omen for worse things to come.

Why does everything have to be kawaii anime mascot characters? Really, what is it with this? I can even see an anime mascot character for the park at Taiji now.

Greenpeace was the first to say not to let the children return to school because the top soil in the school playgrounds were contaminated. The government sent the kids back to school only to pull them back and then began to scrape all the top soil due to contamination.

They forgot the "mascot!" They'll need a cute mascot that can walk around shaking hands with the visitors. Make it look like a dolphin and name it Iru-chan or something like that. Hey, use the money for the Tohoku area right? They can even use the five ring Olypmic logo on a bib on the mascot; that would be kawaii! Sorry for being so jaded, getting old and cranky I guess.

The agency "scolded" Mizuho, and Mizuho "replaced" the executive. What does this mean? No, no you shouldn't do that, so you move to another position and we'll have your assistant take your place? Gotta check the Japanese version of this news.

And this is in addition to the leak of contaminated water during a transfer operation that was reported yesterday correct? Getting pretty disgusted with all this fantastic news, but then hey yippee, we got the Olympics, and more taxes down the road! Life is good, smell the roses...wilting roses...

Japan has had many security compromises from both the Defense and the Diet. Human compromises, like going into file sharing sites, walking out with USBs, and poor PWD admin. First step is general education on security itself. Unbelievable that this is an issue in a country like Japan, frankly embarrassing if you ask me. Last thing we need is to hear that TEPCO has been compromised by Stuxnet, Duqu or some other similar worm/virus.
