Can't imagine why the Cheney/Bush... Hilary/Obama teams chose not to simply implant released detainees and GPS track them to where a bunch of other like bearded guys might be... send em' chocolates or something. For some crazy reason it almost looks like Amerika would hate to see an end to war... perhaps that would be a little too cost effective...

Just another distraction. This is by no means 'NEWS'. The Cheney/Bush administration had/has nothing but contempt for the constitution, citizenry, privacy, rule of law, or rules of war. Are we still actually going to debate the necessity of sending the first troop to Iraq? Obama himself has stated justification for torture, as have most of those pointing fingers today, including the passive/aggressive Hillary. The CIA is again the fall-guy. Who really believes that anything that they do (CIA) isn't without White House backing? Citizenry didn't complain then... But they bombed the World Tra... did you see JLo's monster butt on TV last night?... what were we talking about...

Looks like I've got to say it...This isn't complicated... McDonalds food is disgusting, cold slab burgers, plastic fries, rubber nuggets, it's workers unsociable, including those that might understand an order and speak the native language... confused to spastic delirium if you should round off the price total with a loose coin, don't ever expect them to count back your change, it's restaurants are filthy and poorly managed... the list goes on. New menu will not save it anymore than new tires can save a broken down mobil home. Stop sympathizing with them, they don't feel bad about selling leftovers. The writing is on the wall, and its written is ketchup.

@ toshiko... bi-political? Yes... the Republicans like him because he's diagnosed card-carrying passive-aggressive Hawk... The Democrat Party is full of these. Hillary Clinton comes to mind... And she's counting on keeping minds off it. And how crazy is THIS resume... 'A policy wonk with degrees in Medieval history and theoretical physics, Carter has gained a reputation as an expert on hi-tech weapons and military budgets, portraying himself as a reformer intent on making the vast Pentagon bureaucracy more efficient.' As long as none in the confirmation process or press-briefing ask clarification... his nomination is in the bag.

The single and most powerful as feared, (also unspoken at EVERY level of government or 'free' media outlet) that, and will continue to impede justice or sweeping change... is the police union. Imagine the reaction by the union members if an officer was actually brought to trial. The citizenry will pay. Their (police) standing back while the city burned... is only a taste. And who has been held accountable for that non-reaction...

What a joke... I suppose that Obama knows absolutely nothing of the heavy 'surplus' Military equipment being force fed Amerikan community Police forces, the which we forgot to leave for Islamic rebels.

"Organizers say the purpose is to call for new leadership in the Ferguson police department and for police reforms in Ferguson and across the U.S. Two-thirds of Ferguson’s residents are black but the police force is almost entirely white."
Color me cynical... but I would need any verification of the number of blacks that have applied for the job and were passed over for reasons other than otherwise not being qualified. I haven't heard this argument from anyone protesting or posing.

@Wolfpack... Obama should call for the minority community to reflect upon the difficulties that their own actions are causing for them.
Thats the majorities dream.
That minority community instead chooses to magnify, confirm and perpetuate their own stereotype and press guilt on anyone overcoming by virtue of their own hard work and refusal to be typecast.
Part of 'the dream' was getting a minority in the seat of the Presidency, someone compassionate that could connect with their plight... That worked out well didn't it?... Obama has closed himself and his legacy in a cult of personality, surrounding himself, instead, and with celebrity that represents the minority as well as I could represent the plight of fruit pickers.

In a parallel universe; The cop is indicted, jury trial, finds him guilty, death penalty. Praise The Lord!!! This is the only option that would be acceptable to those opposing the outcome as it stands. These events bring to mind the outcry on the night 13 homicides took place in Detroit as the direct result of Black citizens killing Blacks... and who can forget the Cracker Riots on the day that OJ Simpson was acquitted of cold blood murders of two unarmed White folk... Oh wait a minute, second event, never happened...

It seems reasonable this money could easily be marked as to pinpoint locations of terror group stash houses and destroy them. Perhaps Allied forces don't want to know... it would certainly put some arms dealers out of business... wouldn't want that!

"senators never got a clear answer to the question most people have: whether or not their cars are safe."
@ Serrano...The answer is perfectly clear: probably not.
Senators seldom if ever ask intelligent questions. In most cases... they seem timid, as if their own responsibility in the issue will come into question.

@Texas Aggie... that would be supported with major networks not airing Obama's immigration speech... since those lemmings addicted to the mindless shallow nonsense those networks broadcast, would think the network responsible and in support of for the unpopular speech content... same reasoning they use for not being aware of anything going on around them other than how big their favorite celebrities butt is.
