It's just that some Japanese refuse to turn on the air con, mostly because it costs an arm and a leg? My b/f's family was a great host family during my month long stay recently. But damn, everytime the heat was bad (along with humidity), they still wouldn't turn on…

Wow, you guys honestly insinuate suicide or neglect? I think it was just a tragic accident here. The mother wasn't feeling well and probably went to the hot springs to relax and maybe feel better. Unfortunately she probably did pass out and drown. My sympathies...

What an idiot...why would he risk his own life to avoid a speeding ticket? You'd think he'd do that if he had drugs or weapons on him...what a tragedy...all over a speeding ticket.

I don't care if it was the combini to get milk, this is gross negligence at its worst. Parents should NEVER leave thier children alone! My b/f's told me about this, that parents in Japan tend to leave the little ones unsupervised. I hope the mother is put behind bars.

quit complaining. It sounds a lot better than the so called "Premium Economy" these US airlines give us, which is nothing more than legroom. Prices are high for JAL but consider the amneties you recieve compared to other airlines.

So how much is it PER MONTH? Also, if you're currently with another provider (KDDI), can you carry your number over? My b/f stated he wanted an iPhone really badly. And yeah, these restrictions for foreigners - whatever. I wouldn't call it racism, just business. I also wouldn't read much…

Wow sadness...so many airlines pulling out of Kansai airport. ATM there's little American routes which has me worried because I need to fly there to get to my b/f's home in Shiga. The airlines already pulled the Nagoya route too :(.

What's the problem? Just show your ID or passport. The more waves you make, the more suspicious you seem.
