Badsey - you're right - if one HAS to run Windows, at least it should be run on VMWare on top of AT LEAST a CentOS system (if not Red-Hat or other)...

fds - you can be sure the heli was discovered as soon as he took head towards the destroyer. Japanese helis should do the same :~) - flying so close to a big ship puts the helicopter atomatically at the mercy of that warship.

Unfortunately helicopters can not be captured without damaging them somehow...

sk4ek, the IMAX in Kawasaki is a true system (otherwise there's no way it can bear the logo)... I believe it was build from scratch, and it respects both the audio and the visual standards. Avatar looked very good on it

and people should have a very good look at Kabukiza, while it still stands - Every European would consider this a crime against his country, Japanese say just "Shouganai ne" - meaning they don't really care about destroying such interesting buildings.

Europe is suddenly thrown back 100 years - rather funny to watch from here, in Japan (I'm European)...

ONLY 5???!!! Japanese are really lenient towards this guy... Throw him in jail and let him meditate about it.. I hope the prison-kayu and miso soup tastes good (as he's eating it out of MY tax money)...

And I don't recommend the "flavours of Paris" especially in a hot summer day. More like the stench of Paris :)) This article (and generally this offer) sounds like an advertisement for a very expensive lottery to win a trip to Paris anyway... Some more info about what the consumer gets for his 3900?

Many of these are wonderful films. Too bad about people from puritan cultures who can't deal with it.

You mean you actually bother to watch the entire movie instead on fast forwarding to the essential scenes :) ??

Pierre Gagnaire collects Michelin stars the way Tiger Woods collects girlfriends: widely, impressively, and in great numbers.

    What an absolute "ASININE" comment

Agree :) What does Steve know about the way Pierre Gagnaire collects his stars? It takes a huuuge amount of work just to be considered for a visit from Michelin, nevermind getting the stars - what has this work to do with Tiger Woods' private life?

Oh my GOD, they finally realized the athletes are humans as well!!! Can you believe it?

Also, most of the bad commentators never put on a pair of skates themselves, nevermind competing in an international event... I wonder what gives them the confidence to start bad mouthing the champions...

probably the truck driver got what he deserved if he behaved like most of the truck drivers in Japan (although JT does not specify what caused the conflict, it is a reasonable guess to say that it could have been the truck driver's driving style).

have any of you seen "the cove?...the movie was completely and utterly one sided.

I have seen it, and the movie was completely and utterly NOT one sided. The fishermen were those who decided not to allow cameras in there, and more "declined" any requests for interviews (by punching cameras and smearing lenses, while shouting loudly).

How would you then propose to make such a movie then?
