Amazing guy - they do this incredible amount of hard work for the privilege of being there and do even more hard work. I'm sure he enjoyed it fully though and he well deserved it :)

In Japan C Sections are rarely performed and the doctors emphasize the natural birth methods (which is very good in my opinion). As far as I know C-section births here are never allowed for vanity reasons only (also the costs are 3-5 times higher than a natural birth)

I purposely blast my car's horn at every idiot crossing over a red light because if I kill them it's my fault as a driver and it's me who goes to jail for 5-7 years...
Would show them my bare backside through the side-window too, wouldn't I be so busy actually driving the car and avoiding hitting them. Therefore those guys should feel really lucky they did not meet me at that crossing :))
Joking aside, they deserve sitting and getting soaked for 15 minutes in the rain for doing such a terrible mistake. BTW - do cops actually stop you in Japan for crossing a red light? - this sounds incredible.

Micro$chrot are indeed funny. First they make a CRAP OS, full of holes through which one can loose passwords, files or entire partitions, and get computer viruses.
Then they are charging the user 50 USD for the service of repairing their own collection of bugs and problems.
And THEN - and this is indeed the funny part, they try to compete with other companies offering FREE solutions to Microsoft&s problems, by making their version of the security system free. One would expect them to first work at making their own OS more fault-proof, with less bugs and ways for viruses to infect, but nooo, they just apply a patch over a rotten-used, old and full of holes leather jacket.
Here is a better strategy for Micro$oft: Why not make some holes and viruses on purpose, then make your own 500$ antivirus to "close" those "holes"?

funkyfresh - was about to say the same - the cup is valued at 2-3 mil yen in gold only - and yes - it takes a lot of labour to make such a thing...especially considering it's uniqueness.

At six I was always alone (or with same aged friends) fishing out somewhere. Falling in water was something usual and I knew (was taught) how to swim properly even with clothes on.
I am not blaming the father for anything here - obviously a very good and loving father if he takes his son out fishing. Condolences to him and his family and RIP to his son. Besides this I guess nothing else could be said.

Japantoday needs to stay away from tabloid-like articles - they strongly "reduce the level of discussion" - as specified sometimes by The Moderators. Otherwise JT will loose at least one reader.
Moderator: The purpose of both the Shukan Post and Kuchikomi sections is to report to our readers what the Japanese are reading each week in the tabloid media.

womanforwoman - be careful - your taste could also be called VERY cheap. Nobody asked you to click this article and more, nobody asked for your inflamatory comments around here. Agree with CutureChange - If you don't like Pornography - don't look at it... Stop trying to educate people around by some standard YOU consider golden...

Fadamor at cruising altitude and hitting even the strongest of the strongest of air columns, it will still stake them 3-4 minutes to hit the water. I'm a private and sail plane sports pilot myself, and I know what you are talking about, but I still suspect they had a massive electrical failure on main and backup circuits, otherwise they would have been able to send our a message (the automatic messaging system tried to send a message about electrical failures).

Buy it if you need an appliance for commuting but don't buy it if you need a real car. The persons using a Prius are not drivers but operators... it is such a boring thing.

Everybody speeds in Japan - be careful not to speed while being alone on the road though - the easiest way to speed is while being in the middle of a car-row 100 cars long - no policeman dares to stop the traffic where everybody drives 10-15km/h over the limit in order to just punish one guy...
