Stanoue ... Of course I know. Still they might use some cleaning detergent for the tea factory. Sometimes the cleaning detergent is not removed completely by washing. It is a common problem in manufacturing food and drink products. So it sounded like a joke, but sometimes it (unfortunately) is not.
Terrie, that's a tough statement!
You really want to compare
"... talking about troublesome lizards, one wonders if the descendants of the original settlers ..."

I forgot to say, my little one really likes "Lightning McQueen".
So he has DVD, Bento-set, small cars, little big bigger cars, and so on with "Lightning McQueen" on it. Also he (3 years old) like other boys likes toy cars very much. Just "Speed Racer" is boring for him.
Have seen only part of it, then my little boy demands to stop, because it was boring for him. What he likes much more is the game with same name on the Nintendo DS.
Actually "Hack" was the name of a quite interesting public domain computer game, available in the time, when computers were accessed by Terminals and people used ASCII graphics.
Its good that they did not use Katakana Engrish, e.h. "Haku", because this might mean "to puke". At least in Japanese children…
