An advice to the woman: Just have a sharp cutting tool handy. Or glue some glass pieces in a way to the mail box that mail inserted is not affected, but things taken out will experience scratches.

Or think of the electric devices connected to fences to keep cows from escaping. Then the truck driver will learn that not only urine, but also electrical current can flow the same way.

Christmas coming soon. Time to buy not so useful gadgets to give to less important people.

I don't see anyone in purple dress. However the 3 a little in background from left could be as well working in the local drinking pub with the same dress.

    Oh, maybe they did.

    Societymike:

    60 kW times 20Yen/kWh (not 0.2 Yen/kWh) gives 1200 Yen/hour.

Then 14400 Yen for half a day and so on. Just multiply your numbers by 100.

    Still reasonable.

    Cheers.

I hope the cops don't call this suicide couple:

"hey lets play hide and seek in these steel drums. I bet no one will find us."

On Tuesday, Honda reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings, and raised its profit forecast for the fiscal year through March 2010, to 155 billion yen, up 13% from the previous fiscal year.

While in another report on JT 2009/10/28 (yesterday) it said:

    Honda's quarterly profit drops 56.2%

    So, Honda should stop whining!

I suggest the floor of all trains to be made of polished stainless steel.

Then I expect most women will think twice before putting on too short skirts. Then - problem reduced. In the mean time, let's lower our heads and look down.

I wonder how they will explain the situation, which is at the core of the book that one woman has the problem of "not getting wet".

Make sure, it is off, and has cooled down.

The blue light will attract insects and mosquitos. Then in fear of being hit, which gives itching, they forget to jump. Anyhow, then they will jump later at another time, another station.

It looks like the "St. Florians" principle. Don´t let the bad thing happen here, make it go away. Well, it does not disappear, just it moves to another place.

Finally, I wonder if a Salaryman feels the urge and nature calls to for a pee, will the combination of yellow liquid and blue light result in green drops on the platform?

I once noticed when I wanted to pay in a Japanese restaurant in Tsukuba with a European issued credit card, that they want to add on a service charge of 3percent. Then I paid in cash. Money saved.
