why not get permanent tats if she wants to? do you HONESTLY think she's upset that a bunch of prudish nobodys like CultureChange don't find her attractive? CultureC - she's in tears while the money rolls in.
Why do people feel they have the right to comment on what others do with their bodies? Especially about women, "Japanese girls! Dont get tattoos" Where on earth is it you right to say that?.
CULTURE C join a chess club and take up landscape painting!! (makes as much sense eh?)

so many ridiculous reactionary statements on this...
"tattoes are for those who have so much insecurities in their lives and want attentions...."
being a prime example. rafraf, do you wear nice clothes or just pull a binliner over your head? if you choose clothing that you feel makes you look good you obviously have insecurities and want attention. we all do things we think improve/change our image we present to the world. and i think she looks great
as for the argument, what about in 40 years time. i'll bet a lot of you drink or/and smoke, that damage is gonna be worse than some saggy tattoos. and yeah, i drink, smoke and get tats

'Thanks to this stupid "Kabukicho Renaissance," my favorite pub is being shut down'
yeah, one of mine too!! if you're talking about the angel, my friend who works there said they're kind of joining another bar down the road. not sure how that's going to work though.
i think it would be a shame if kabukicho was smartened up - i love the seedy atmosphere and it's a fun place to walk through at any time of night. inamongst the sex clubs there's also a lot of great little rock bars which i imagine would have a hard time if they make it more business orientated. i'm moving to osaka if that happens!

but basically this depresses me, asian eyes are absolutely beautiful, the idea of trying to remove such a characteristic is incomprehensible to me

most of my friends here are female and well educated, but it seems that unless you have trained for a specific vocation then you're gonna be an OL. a more general degree seemingly means jack
Posted in: Japan's relative poverty rate is one of the highest among the OECD nations. The reason is that our taxation and social security systems are so feeble, making it impossible to rectify female poverty or the income gap between men and women.

late response, but just checked back - i can't believe people think the bar is responsible... if you die of lung cancer is marlboro responsible? cirrhosis; is kirin to blame? maybe you get drunk and are a violent idiot and beat your wife to a pulp, then it's the bar's fault surely? what if you drink too much and don't drive, but get knocked over? sue the bar for serving a person they knew was going to be walking? people who can't take responsibility for their own actions (whether intoxicated/otherwise influenced or not) rile me soooooo much - man up a bit and admit you made the decision rather than passing the blame. pathetic idiots

hell no to both! this world is getting worse and worse for seeking to lay the blame elsewhere - if i get drunk and cause a crash, then it's MY fault, not the bar's, not my friends', not the tv show that made drunk driving seem cool, not kurt cobain's... etc. people need to grow up and take responsibility for their own actions.
