because they are good at complaining but when they actually get into power, all their campaign promises fall by the way side and nothing actually gets done and they have no foreign policy and japan suffers on the world stage. i believe the sale of the senkankus and the russians and korean visits to disputed islands all happened on their watch.

if push comes to shove with china, i wouldn't count on the u.s. to defend japan. u.s. pledged to defend the ukraine if they gave up their nukes and look what it got them, economic sanctions...not quite the same.

actually, it is in greece's long term interest to leave the euro instead of continuring to put the screw to the greek people until they are bled dry by austerity. tsipras was elected on a anti-austerity platform so it is only natural that he go back to his constituents if he did not succeed in negotiating what he was elected for.

while her working is admirable, why don't her parents? the girl is probably working in a convenience store or something like that, why can't they? i suppose if i was getting money for not working, why bother?
also, i curious about the basis for the court's decision. i certainly hope the court didn't arbitrarily decide not to enforce the law. it would be unfair to all those people who decide not to work cause it would reduce their welfare payout.

her husband was a liar and she's a liar. unfortunately, the republicans are not any better.why do these people keep getting elected? if any of you had done what they had done, you'd be out of a job or in jail (unless you were a bankster)

the problem is professional politicians. they make their living by getting elected and get elected by spending money to pander to their constituents. don't have the money, no problem, borrow it and raise taxes on "the rich", i think "the rich" nowadays are defined as making something a bit over $100,000?

unfortunately, he won't be charged with murder cause he had no intent to murder. the reason they can charge him with murder in other countries is that they have laws implying intent, i.e. if you hurt or kill someone while committing a crime, it is implied that you intended to do so.
